Yes, she could absolutely be pregnant. Take her to a vet ASAP. Get all of her shots as well!

Yes, but the only 2 ways to know are 1) wait for kittens 2) take an x-ray of her. I would consult a vet on things to look for in a pregnancy and how quickly you can spay her after the kittens are born.

Definitely sounds like she's pregnant. You need to switch her to a high quality kitten food so that she and the kittens get all the proteing and nutrients they need.
You also need to get her to a vet ASAP and have her tested for feline leukemia and FIV (feline aids) Both of these are highly contagious and unfortunately extremely common. If she is infected with either, the kittens will be to. It would be better to abort the kittens now if the momma is sick.

I would take her to vet (and keep her strictly indoors until after she gives birth, and gets her proper vaccinations.. after having her litter) to get checked out for any potential problems. There are low cost veterinarians in almost any city, if you do a little research.
Even if she had something (feline leukemia, FIV) she could still have a happy healthy life if kept indoors, and if her babies were bottlefed, and given their vaccines when able. You can spay/neuter them after 6 mo if you plan on keeping them I suggest you do this. If you put them up for adoption, at least wait until they are able to eat soft food, kitten food/and water. And always ask at least a small fee for your kittens, that way you avoid scary people who may want to use a kitten for animal testing, or even worse,...to feed to their pet snake! Be picky & choosy when finding a home for your li'l critters. They can't decide where they go...so you should.
Good luck, T :)

Most likely, if you're concerned take her to a vet. But it sounds like she's pregnant.

More than likely. If you know the person ask them if she has been spayed. If she has not you had better get ready for kittens. And they aren't pregnant very long.

kinda sounds like it too me. I would be prepared for some kittys in the next couple of weeks. They probably knew she was pregnant and that is why they gave her away.
