I am considering to let my grandparents see my new cat, the problem is there are so many animals in their farm including horses, dogs, rodents, birds, frogs, lizards, rabbits, and fish. Before my grandparents can start training them into getting used to my cat, which of these animals can I have my cat around w/ an easy aquaintance?

I learned that my cat was raised with other cats only as a kitten and has not experienced life with any other animals.

have ur grandparents come to you. if the dogs have never seen a cat before they could get excited and hurt it. i wouldn't recommend taking your cat to the farm. but whatever floats your boat.

it depends on the cat and the other animal. Horses are usually indifferent but scare cats sniffing/blowing on them. I wouldn't think the rodents frogs etc would be an issue.
However if your cat is not used to being around other animals I wouldn't take it to a farm. If it gets scared and runs off it could be lost and if it gets too far from the barn will probably become coyote meal. Yes, coyotes kill and eat cats.

The kitten probable has worms, so which you're maximum suitable served by making use of conserving the kitten in a separate room. The kitten could have fleas, and you will verify for that. you could enable them to nicely known one yet another, if this is your subject, as long as you visual reveal unit so your resident cat does not get admission to the kitten's clutter container. assume some hissing and growling, as which would be uncomplicated. Your different question no longer yet asked could relate to food. Kitten chow is maximum suitable, and in case your cat eats the kitten chow, no massive deal. And if the kitten eats the grownup food, no massive deal the two. Oh, at 2 years of age, your cat continues to be very lots a kitten in habit. Transition into extra grownup habit is around year 3.

Can't you just take your cat to visit your grandparents without introducing him to all of those other animals right away? If not I am sure that your grandparents would enjoy seeing just you and maybe they could visit your cat at another time.

Take the cat with you. The more the merrier, right? But as much as possible, keep it away from the dogs. Although, some dogs are friendly towards cats.

I would not recommend it...cats can catch diseses from other animals (especially other cats) just by breathing the same air (FIV)...I'd just take a picture to my grandparents
