what would you do?
I have a quaker diagnosed with PBFD... now, many birds can live out their lives with it, but that means they need to be separated from all other birds for life.
Do I put him down so that there is no chance of him infecting other birds, and so that if the disease takes over its short and sweet instead of drawn out?
or do I try to find him a home, with the understanding that he may die within a year, and they can never ever have another parrot as long as he is alive?

he also has a tumor.

I saw this pigeon today that looked like it injured its wing. I immediately thought that it's going to die. Someone will run over it. If someone goes to the trouble of helping it and putting it in a park or something, could it actually find a place to be quiet and let its wing mend?

I want to get a friend for my Cockatiel who is very moody (had her for 1 week) and I was looking at a quaker Parrot. Would these two be able to live together in relative harmony in the same cage?

Tonight an owl flew into my car window. I didn't know what hit me so I turned around and drove back, and it was sitting in the road, stunned. It was obviously hurt so I put it in a sweater and took it home, and it is in my dog's crate right now with a sheet over it. This was about an hour ago.

I figured I will take it to the Nature Center on Monday but what do I do with this owl in the meantime? Should I turn it loose later if it starts moving around normally? Or keep it until Monday?

What do I feed it? I'm afraid to feed it right now because it was hit so hard.

I have absoultely no idea what to do. All I know is that I can't leave an injured owl outside, unprotected, in good conscience. They are endangered in my area.

I have a breeding pair that are sitting on 3 eggs. The female stays in the box 24/7 the male doesn't help her at all. I'm worried that this is going to take a toll on her. Is there a reason why the male might not be helping? sometimes he goes in the box with the hen. but she isn't getting any rest during the day. I haven't had this happen before. Is this normal with some tiels.? I have a younger male about 6 months old. I was thinking about removing the cock and putting the younger male in to help foster the eggs?

We have 2 Chinese Silkie Chickens, and their eggs have just hatched, everything is ok except the hen seems to be pushing away the smallest chick. I believe this could be because Silkies will only usually nest 6-8chicks comfortably right? Well she has 12 chicks! I keep taking the little chick back to her and she just keeps pushing him/her away! Should I bring it up myself? If so what are some good websites for info? PLEASE HELP!

My step mom just got a pair of budgies from pet-co ( I know bad place to get your pets), anyway one of the birds is sick, he is fluffed up and is very warm, he has not gotten to the point of being at the bottom of the cage and I believe it may be a cold, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a home remedy? otherwise we are returning it.
