I have two Muscovy females currently sitting on a nest of their first eggs. I was reading that as the Muscovy are classed as an actual seperate species of Duck due to 90% of all other ducks are derived from the Mallards. So my question is that by interbreeding my Muscovy to the Pekin this way is it true that their babies (any ducklings / drakelets) will be born sterile??

Hi this post may seem silly to some but please belive me i really do need some help and genuin advice here !

after much reading up on cockatiles i bought a baby one three days ago from "pets at home" i was told this bird was three months old at least , i brought it home and it sat huddled in the bottom of the cage in a corner,so i put it down to stress change in enviroment n so on i coverd the cage and kept an eye on things after approx 2hrs the little bird stil hadnt attempted to climb up to the perch to reach its food or water so i brought the dishes down to ground leaval and the poor little thing had a good drink then eat as if he had never seen food before!
he has been jumping from perch to perch today "quiet few misses" but i need help HOW do i make a room safe for his first flight ? i saw him fly once in the avria on the day i bougt him and he crashed into the wall on landing :( im scared he will hurt himself, apart from removing everthing from one room "which i cant do"???
