She was sitting on the desk and she backed up and fell. She tried to fly but when she hit the ground, her feather came out. Should I take her to the vet or is she fine? Please help

I would just watch her to make sure she doesn't show signs of stress.

Birds will lose their feathers on a regular basis. If the feather came out with the shaft in tact, then I would not worry. If there is blood at the site where the feather came out, then she broke a blood feather and it needs to be plucked out right away or she will bleed to death.
Blood feathers can act as straws if they are broken, and without plucking it out right away, this "straw effect" will literally bleed until the bird is dead.
Other than that, if she is acting normal, I wouldn't worry. Just keep an eye on her to make sure that nothing changes with her (not eating or drinking, not climbing, etc.)

Good luck!

Was there blood in the feather shaft? Is she bleeding? If the answer is no, no reason to take her to the vet. If it is bleeding, the rest of the feather will need to be pulled, either by you or the vet.

If she only lost a feather, it will grow a new one later, don't worry.
It's also possible that that feather is needed to fly..so maybe your bird can't fly properly for a while.
If you think it is hurt or it is behaving strangely, then take it to the vet.
Good luck to the both of you!

My bird loses a feather every once in a while. As long as it is flying and walking and sitting on it's perch okay then it will be fine.
