i have a betta fish and i think it has drospy or mabey something else i have been feeding my fish a little more then usual could that cause the bloating

I just can't decide on what reptile I should get. I'll do tons of research on one, then see another and research that. I would like a medium sized reptile, that can live in a 55 gallon tank. I WILL have all the lighting, heating, feeding requirements fulfilled, I just don't know what I should get.

I would like for it to be able to handle it regularly, not require to much humidity (sprays in the tank with a waterbottle daily would be nice)

I was thinking a blue tongue skink. What do you think

*I will do all the research, and make sure I can handle the pet before I decide to get it

Thanks

We adopted "Simba" about 2 yrs. ago (he's about 3 1/2 yrs. old now) from the Golden Retriever Rescue. He had been starved and had lost an ear from unknown causes prior to his adoption. He is several inches taller (Setter-like) than any golden retriever I've previously owned, and weighs close to 90 lbs., though. Do you think that Simba is a purebred golden retriever, or an Irish Setter? Note the slightly domed head that might be evidence of Setter-blood.

I know this is a fairly common question, so I thought I'd`change it a little bit.

First, tell me what your favourite dog breed is.

Second, tell me why you love this breed, and what experience you have had with it.

Third, sum up your favourite dog breed in three words.

Fourth, tell me how the above three words relate to the breed.

Fifth, if you have pets of this breed, tell me their names, and if not tell me what you would call one if you got one.

Well since it's winter here in PA, the temperature is very cold outside and it's in the high sixties here in my house. When i change the water of my 1/2 gallon fish bowl i make it hot (about the right temp. a betta needs) but it always gets really cold soon after. I know bettas need warm water. Are there heaters to buy for small bowls like mine? If so, where can I find one?

just wondering if I can use the python to syphon water into my bathtub or toilet, instead of using the faucet vacuum method when draining.

My dog is a puller on leash and Im looking for a harness that will help me train her to stop pulling without her choking herself on collar. I want a training quality harness that is comfortable for her. What are some ones that you recommend?

Her nose keeps getting real wet (i think from a runny nose) and i think its stuffy because now whenever she sleeps, she drools a lot. she has never done this before so im thinking its a cold.
also she has been acting really tired and doesnt want to do much of anything.

could it be a little cold? how to get rid of it if she appears to have one??

THANK YOU!

I have six cats and three litter boxes throughout my house. I am currently using Fresh Step but just recently it seems as if the litter sours quicker than it had before. It gets darker and begins to smell after 3 days instead of the usual 5 or 6. Any suggestions or does anyone know of a better brand of litter. Btw I use and like the clay type.

I have a Peking duck. She lays an egg almost every day. She lays extra large jumbo eggs. She has laid an egg within an egg several times. The outer layer is thin but solid. The next layer is all egg white. Then there is a fully formed normal extra large egg. The whole egg is extremly large. It looks like a goose egg. The egg is as big as a grown man,s large hand in lenghth and is almost as large around. I am going to take a picture and mesurements on the next one. We live in North Carolina and I feed her and my two Kaki Campbells regular laying mash from Southern States feed. Thanks for the help. She is a very good duck and her name is Ms. Quackers and she has never been bred so the eggs are not fertile and I pick up the eggs everyday.

I have a divisor in my betta breeding tank (10 gallons). This dividor used to be transparent, and both bettas (a female and a male) and after three months is no longer see-thru. Now is white opaque.

Does some one knows how to clean it up, and make it transparent again?

I need a fish enthusiast to answer this for me. I'm fishsitting for my very young cousin while she's out of town with her family. I didn't really pay attention to him until today when I went to change his tank. He has almost no color left on him whatsoever. There's some left on his face and fins. His fins are droopy and lifeless. From what I can tell, it's not Ich and his fins aren't rotting. There are a few illnesses I know they aren't because I've had a fish with TB and I've worked with a hardcore fish enthusiast so I know he doesn't have anything common. When I changed the water today I raised it to 80 degrees (although it won't stay that way, he's in a bowl-- not my fish, not my choice). Does anyone have any ideas?

Need some new ideas. All I have done with horseshoes is make a great boot-puller with them and next spring, I hope to make a porch swing frame. As far as twine, a makeshift halter and temporary fencing is about all I've done with it. It is snowing where I live and I have time on my hands so if your creative side comes out and you have an idea for me that you liked, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

This is really hard for me to type so please excuse any mistakes. Okay, I have a 13 year old Pit-Bull/Lab/Greyhound mix. We took her to an Emergency Vet trip two days ago because her back paws were knuckling. They said it was nerve damage due to old age & then they did some bloodwork. We got the results back & her Liver wasn't working right & she might have Hypothyroidism. We had a Vet appointment at 12:00 tomorrow for both things but then tonight, she couldn't move her back legs. She does have feeling in them because if you touch it, she looks back. But her joints seem to be locked. We're taking her to the Emergency Vet but we have a problem, we can't get her out of the house if she can't walk. She bites & growls when you pick her up so we can't pick her up without a muzzle. We don't have a muzzle so the Vet told us to make one. We did & she's still snappy. Help please?! Shed some light on what to do & what this could be?! Please pray that she'll be okay, her name's Tasha. <3

Right now there is a circle looking thing on her ear about the size of a dime and the skin is kinda looking like dandruff in that area.

Could someone recommend a low cost remedy as I am on a very limited income and trying to help my dog.
