The only stuff that really works for my 2 boys is Scoop Away (multi-cat). It clumps really well, and doesn't smell. I tried Tidy Cat, Fresh Step, Arm and Hammer, and a generic Sam's Club kind and none of these worked. And on the plus side, scoop away is pretty cheap. It's definitely cheaper than tidy cat, I found 28lbs for just under 10 bucks at Wal-Mart. Good luck!

since you like the clay litter , you are going to LOVE the new johnny cat litter. they do have a multiple cat type but even the regular can handle alot of cats .i just sift out the stools(poop lol) every other day, stir the sand a little and WALAH! I'm done. ppl tell me they didn't even KNOW there was a cat in my house till they saw her. we also use it at the SPCA where i work. once a month just dump the whole box and wash the pan w/hot soapy water and you ll NEVER smell cat urine again in your home. try it you ll LIKE it! lol

I even have distinct cats, so at everybody time I even have countless kitty clutter handy, and function distinct clutter packing boxes. i myself supply 3 distinctive clumping litters. Arm and Hammer, Scoop way and Tidy Cat (purple label). Tidy Cat is in all hazard the single my cats to by the main. Why? It provides them thoughts, and that i take advantage of coupons. i haven't used non-clumping clutter for an extremely long term. a number of my cats seem to instruct a decision for one over the different. i do no longer mixture the clutter.

I use Wal-mart scoopable cat litter. I have only 2 cats, but I "scoop out" everything every morning. Perhaps you need to scoop your litter more often, since you have so many cats.
