hi,yes she is pregnant&the colour you see is fine. The thing is how pregnant. After fertalisation it takes 30days for'internal hatching'(you may see tiny eyes through stretched belly)
With all platys fertalisation takes place along time before birth.
But she is prone to premature birth if stressed when fully gravid or in turn will try to hold onto them till she feels safe. This is why a seperate tank with the same water@24-27c with java moss&floating plants is advisable if possible.Breeder boxes/nets not such a good idea (she is to prone to miscarry/abort/premmy 1/2 formed fry due to stress.
OH!and the female also has the ability to hold back some eggs in reserve&subsequently produce young without the presence of a male(cool)Female can drop 20-50fry a month.Growth of fry is slow.First food for fry should be b/b shrimp of micro-worms.
Relax,it will happen.
hope it helps,happy holidays
PS:NOT SAYING I"M SMART,carefull how you write,this place is full of W--KERS/A--HOLES.

Not eggs, eyes, you are seeing the fry. If you disturbed the female too close to her delivery time she will probably die,or at least lose the fry. You really should not try to move an obviously pregnant fish. If you can see the eyes it's too late to net and move the female.Do some homework so next time you won't do any harm. Never move a female live-bearer within two weeks of her delivery time.

Go Keith!

Your platy is pregnant, moving her any distance was probably a bad idea, as she will probably abort.

A smart person would have done some research about the fish before they buy it, and realize nearly any female livebearer from a shop is going to be pregnant if they have been in a tank with males.

If you want intellegent answers it is a good idea to post in an intellegent manner.

I have had platys and it sounds like she is pregnant. Is she in with other new fish? If so she may be frightened to give birth among strangers. Take the others out and let her be. She will be okay. The others can live in another tank until her babies are adults. Good Luck.

She is pregnant. Why did you not believe at the Salesmen? They are those big eyes of the fry.
