hi there i got our first kitten a month ago and he is now three months old, he came from a home that had other pets and he was absolutely fine around them... yesterday i got another kitten who came from a similar home but is just a month older than my other kitten. they are both males and obviously at first we a bit unsure of each other. they seem to want to fight at the moment but of course i am hoping they wil grow to love each other. just wondered if anybody else has had a similar thing. also will be getting them both neutered when they are old enough. thanks for any answers

My friend works for a company where the sister-in-law of the owner has left her 2 Siberian huskies at their offices. She returned from the US about 6 weeks ago with the dogs, and has kept them at their offices (at a converted house) for the last 5 weeks or so. She has just moved into a flat with a new boyfriend where she can’t take the dogs. She barely comes to see the dogs, and the dogs are mostly being fed by the staff at the offices, since she doesn’t even come to feed them. And now we’ve just discovered that she has left the dogs without food and water over the whole weekend, whilst she went away.



At what point does this become criminal? Is there anything we can do about it? These poor dogs have not had a run since being back in South Africa, are left outside, mostly tied to a leash, are getting no attention at all from their owner and do not get fed or watered regularly. What can be done about this?

morning

what i have been wondering is what can a professional fumigator do that someone themselves can't do in terms of spraying carpets, with insecticide spray.

I have done this myself, been very very thorough yet fleas have still come back.

I am interested in getting a professional to do it now but can they actually get rid of them? how can they get rid of the eggs in carpets - surely nothing can touch them?

what can they do differently

yesterday i bought my kids two goldfish, (they are gold with black spots on and lovely big white tail fins). I was wondering how often should i feed them and how often should i change their water. Can anyone help?? Also while im at it, should i buy one of those water filters?

Well recently my pet dog was attacked by my 2 neighbours pig dogs when my dog was peacefully lying in my front yard. THe 2 dogs jumped the fence and started attacking my dog, and my dog was ripped up underneath her belly and has since had $700 worth of surgery to fix her up. If this was to happen again and i was to accidently kill the pig dog as last time i was smacking the absolute mind my language, CRAP out of it and it would not let go of my pet. Eventually the neighbour came and broke the fight up after 5 mins of fighting. THe next time this occurs i plan to use a steel pole but am afraid i will get in trouble if i kill it. I do not wish my pet to die as it has been with the family for 9 years. Will i get in trouble if accidently kill or no?

Seriously, I'm tired of people using dogs as an accessory. I hate the first two pictures. You put that horrid thing on your dog, and you carry your dog with a handle? Don't dogs have legs?

i've had it for over a year. i don't know why i'm just now trying to figure out what it is. i've read on the internet that sometimes fish are dyed.. do you think my fish was dyed?!
also, what kind of fish get a long peacefully with this kind of fish? i had 2 of these fish, but i went out of town and my roommate forgot to feed the fish, so i want to get a buddy for the survivor.

A friend of mine said that Great Danes are the strongest dog (in fact last September a Great Dane killed a girl in France in few seconds). He also said in dog fighting Great Danes are never involved beacuse they would win everytime.
So is a Great Dane stronger than a Pitbull? Or would the Pitbull defeat the Great Dane?

i have a 10 week old puppy dalmatian. i awoke this morning to find his ears and snout inflamed. left

side of his face is more affected.inflamed left eyelid too. hope its an allergic reaction to

something.he was out playing with lots of leaves fallen from a london plane.he was not eating and

drinking all yesterday till late.had to mix some vapourised milk into his water to persuade him to

drink something which he lapped up. he seemed fine when i went to bed. he did manage to swipe a small

piece of chicken that fell from a bin bag and it did contain small bones. he has only had 1 course of his injections.

please help,very worried

I was told that my dog may be alergic to certain dog food. She does not have fleas and still scratches alot, I'm trying different brands of food to see which one will help. Anyone have any ideas what I could do or what type of shampoo to use or not use?

the only thing my dog will eat is roast chicken breast
and stir fryed beef i tried buying that stuff in dog food but she just wont eat it she will only eat it if she sees me eating it first and im not going to eat dog food oh and did i mention she wont eat anything if its put on the floor for her she has to eat on a table

My sister and I recently both got cats. As children, we always had dogs, so we're both really new to kittens. Her cat is much younger than mine by at least a month, her eyes are never opened all the way, and they're constantly leaking. Her nose is also consistently runny and she's balding by her ears. She also isn't near as playful as my kitten. She also doesn't take kitty treats [which my kitten goes nuts for]. Are these normal? Could she be sick? Could it be kitty leukemia?

My cat has major fleas. He had a flea collar but did not like it (obviously) and would take it off. Today I got bit and gave him like a twenty minute flea bath. He hated it and when he started to claw I rinsed him and let him go. But he still has fleas on him (will the flea shampoo take some time to kill them, or will they live?). I washed all the bedding, sprinkled flea powder on the carpets... but I am afraid the fleas still on him will just reproduce and keep coming. What will work!?
