that does not involve surgery? I think he is too old to be put under for surgery...but he seems really uncomfortable and we dont want to put him down yet...he was perfectly fine and healthy a few weeks ago you couldnt even tell he was a 14 year old cat...

My 6 month old Golden Retriever has gone off her food. Usually she can't eat it fast enough but this week shes been walking away and then gradually picking at it during the day. She is on Hills science food. Could it be thats she is bored of eating the same food everyday or that there is something wrong with her? She seems abit dopey and is spending alot of time asleep in her basket but other than that shes fine.?

Our family has a cat who tears paper into tiny pieces with her teeth. Her behavior has recently gotten worse and last week she shredded my daughter's choir music and has slowly but surely been dismantling the cardboard cat scratchers we have around the house. We don't really know how to get this to stop and our main worry now is that she may be eating some of the paper (although she seems to be spitting most of it out). Does anyone know if paper shredding may be a dangerous habit that could cause her harm? Any ideas on how to get her to stop?

I have the strangest cat in the world!

He's a six month old kitten called Merlin and these are some of the things he tries to eat:

Dog food (what our elderly Jack Russell leaves over)
Baby Food (what my 11 month old son leaves over)
Pizza
Broccoli
Bread and Butter
Porridge
Yoghurt
Cake
Apple

I have never known a cat like this before!!! Why does he do it? He's not hungry as he gets two good meals of cat food a day, but he still tries to eat anything he can get hold of!

is swimming around in my aquarium, he is about 1cm long and I see him occasionally, he is tiny.

What is it? how did it get there and is it bad? I also have snails, they probably came in with plants I bought.

I have a 120l freshwater aquarium with angelfish guppies and tetras.

Yesterday I recieved a phone call from our neighbor saying they founf my dog and he had been shot. We rushed him to the vet but nothing could be done we had to put him to sleep. he was a small dog and he has been in my family since he was a puppy we had his mother when she had him he was 9 years old in human years and it has brought great devastation to my family. It just kills me to think that someone would shoot a dog for no reason.

Can someone make some suggestions? He isn't eating or moving and just sits in one corner. If I tap on the glass he'll react but that's about all. I tried looking online to find some symptoms of the sickness but couldn't find anything. He is old but I don't think that old. I have cleaned the tank and put fresh water with new filter. Is the water possibly to cold? Thanks in advance.

i bought a baby aneomne 2 days ago. it had no purple spots on its tentacles in the store. it began to get them when i dropped him into the tank. its a 55 gallon tank, and the lighting for it goes off aroud 11:00 pm and turns back on at 10:00 am.

Does anyone have experience with BTAs? Bubble Tip Anemonies are my favorites, so I got one but I didn't know that they should be colored and the one I got is bleached, according to what I read online. According to sites, he's starving to death. I feed phytoplankton daily/bi-daily, and I tried silversides, krill pieces and he did eat the first batch of mysis shrimp, but is tossing everything else out that I give him since. It's been about five days since he had some shrimp. Do you think he's still starving? Can someone please give me some tips? I have had freshwater aquariums for over 30 years and I am an avid aquarist, but am newer to saltwater/reef systems.
My BTA is in a 30 gallon, lots of live rock, live sand, soft corals, mushrooms, and contains 4 clownfsh (2 mated pair who get along) and one Royal Gramma, 2 hermit crabs and a peppermint shrimp and one coral banded shrimp. Skimmer, UV Filter, 2 power heads, 2 bio filters.

My cat had kittens last year (she has since been neutered) my problem is, she keeps bringing in live mice and letting them go!! - Our 6 month old Cavalier king charles spaniel pup has a really good sense of smell and has been whinning by the hoover all morning - we lifted it up and suddenly, two mice popped out - she then shot in front of me and swallowed both of them!!! OMG, I don't think either was dead? - my question is - will she be okay? - will they still be alive and would they bite her? - poor little things!

Currently the tank is heavily planted with 8 neon tetras, and 3 guppies. I"m thinking of either finishing the tank off with more neon tetras, or should I get a small school of rasboras to finish off the tank? What would look better?

My dog likes to sleep on a corner of my couch so he could look out the window and bark at everything. When he wants to go for a wee he will literally bark/howl at me then run for the door and starts 'digging' it. Then, when he's done weeing he runs back to the door, starts scratching it again so i could open it lol. When he sleeps, (with my parents-so spoiled!) he literally looks like a peaceful puppy inside his mother's womb. He just does lots of little cute things that amuse me. Anyone else have a funny story?

I have a neighbor. They had a dog before that new dog. Susi died of age but she was not handled very kindly by them. She had no adequateley shelter. She dug her shelter in the ground and lived in cold and harsh winter conditions. Now it's happening with the new dog again. I heard that poor dog wining all night long. They gone for Thanksgiving out of town. I am pissed off at them. Cause they left that poor thing out there. I live in Northern Utah. Temperaturs are below 20 . It's freezing cold. It been out there all day long waiting for them to return. I finally decided to bring it a basket put some blankets in. But sure as I know them, she does not know what a bed like that is. I bought it a bowl of dog food. It has not eaten all day. I have not seen a bowl for food or water out there. What should we do if they do not return until tomorrow night? We are leaving town tomorrow and I think that dog wont make it.??????

2 latex gloves on one hand?

Or those gloves that people use for gardening, that are really thick?

Me and My Boyfriend Bought this bunny she's 10 weeks old and the previous owner who had her first had 4 dogs and had this bunny outside in a cage with nothing but the bunny what should I do she tips over anything that has a dish how do I get one that can be attached to the wire cage or should I get a new cage and see how she acts in the new one.
