Check your local zoo. You can adopt without all the ice and fish you would need.

Your main problem is the artificial ice you're going to need, and whether the
art(c)tic that brings it is going to have sufficient room to get up your drive to deliver it. Don't forget also the machine gun emplacements to put off all those would-be animal welfare do-gooders who may wish to free him or her (warning, one large, hungry and rather upset polar bear, last seen wandering into frozen food aisle of waitrose).

I think it's a marvellous idea. Well done you.

As it's not possible to adopt a Polar bear or any other endangered animals, try going onto the www.wwf.org.u.k.

why dont you do it the same way as the rest of us, and check out bristol zoo (or another zoo, but i know they do adoption schemes there) online. you can safely and legally 'adopt' one of their polar bears for a relatively small amount of cash :)

I'm sure there's one or two of these guys who'd enjoy being "adopted". And you don't even need all that fancy fake ice, just a really cold swimming pool and a Speedo.

I wouldn't tell you even if I did know. Dude, lemme make this clear: THEY ARE ENDANGERED SPECIES. You can't just keep one in your back yard. Besides, if it gets hungry, I wouldnt feel sorry for you...
