Currently the tank is heavily planted with 8 neon tetras, and 3 guppies. I"m thinking of either finishing the tank off with more neon tetras, or should I get a small school of rasboras to finish off the tank? What would look better?

Thanks for the suggestion guys.
The red betta in the left corner will be moved to a new home in a few days.
I'm 90 percent sure i'm going to go with small school of rasboras to go along with my neon tetras. They are so fiesty!

Very beautiful setup
You could add a schoolf of rasboras, which would bring another color to your tank and they would leave your betta alone as well
get at least 6 of them
Hope that helps
good luck

Very good looking tank. I would top it off with maybe a school of (6) Lemon tetras. This would give a nice color contrast to the tank.

you've 4 kinds of teaching fish (assuming your bottom feeder is a cory), yet you do not have an total college of any of them. what type of danios do you've? Danios truly are not suitable for a 20 gallon tank--even zebra danios, that are small, favor extra swimming area than a 20 promises, as they're very lively fish. (Pay no interest to the inch in line with gallon rule--it would not account for issues jointly with species compatibility, swimming area needed, and territorial subject matters. Plus, imagine attempting to in good structure a 10-inch oscar in a 10 gallon tank...would not make experience). As you stated, a pleco is likewise improper for a 20 gallon tank--even a fifty 5 isn't truly sufficiently huge for an total-grown effortless pleco! My advice is to take the pleco and the danios decrease back to the save. you are able to probable experience good about 6 neons, 6 bleeding hearts, 6 albino cories, and your a million guppy, as long as you do 50% water variations each week. in case you opt for extra guppies, you should opt for one type of tetra to take decrease back to the save.

nice tank.get a single male dwarf gourami and maybe some zebra danios.they look great in planted tanks.since you already have 6,i dont think any more neons would really make it look any better.

That's a lovely tank, but it looks like a ten gallon. You're pushing the stocking a bit with what you already have. A pair of swordtails or something would look nice, or possibly a single dwarf gourami, but I wouldn't add more than one or two more fish.

personally i love harlequin rasboras. they would be a nice contrast swimming around with the neons. they also tend to swim more "midlevel". i would go with the rasboras.

I think a pair of marigold or pineapple swordtails would go well. It would ad for a nice bright addition. Tank looks great, nice job with it
