There is no special breeding season for bettas
you can breed them any time you want
But keep in mind that you need to condition both the male and female separately for at least 2 weeks on havy protein livefood before actually putting them together for breeding
here is an article for you to read up on
http://www.fishlesscycling.com/articles/breeding_bettas.html

Hope that helps
Good luck

If you're reffering to Bettas, they tend to mate after rain showers. I'm guessing monsoon. However, in home aquaria this can be replicated by adding cooler water during your water changes. Some people go as far as a five degree temperature difference, just be careful not to over do it. This will trigger the same effect. However, I haven't heard of tank raised Bettas to stick to a season.
