She'll be okay until to marrow. I hope you're getting the meds from the pet store instead of the vet because it's the same stuff minus the 50$ exam bill. By the way if you don't want the worms to come back you have to do major flea control. I just went through this with my cat a couple months ago. E-mail me if you have any questions.

She needs a visit to the vet tomorrow. I found a stray cat and took him the vet. He had long worms and the small ones that look like rice. The vet had to give him a special medication that would kill all the types of worms. The white rice things that came out of stray were tapeworms and the longer worms were roundworms. The tapeworms were passed to cat due the fleas it had. One does of medication and fecal recheck two weeks later was neg. While at the vet get the cat some flea control or the cat Will get tape worms all over again.

I once had a cat that this happened to and she was OK after she pooped out all the worms.
But just to be on the safe side you should take her to the vet and have her checked out to make sure she'll be OK.
Don't let her eat people food either or anything strange she finds outside.
If she brings something in from outdoors take it away from her and don't let her eat it.
I hope your kitty will be OK I love cats and I can't stand the thought of one being in pain.

Pet meds is great.. if the worms are small like rice then get the Tape worm tabs.. they are not too expensive..

If they are the long ones,, the cheaper one in the store is great..

She doesn't have A worm, she has worms, this is what the rice like thingys are. First thing in the morning give her Drontal or Milbemax pill. Don't delay it and don't give her any other otc de-wormers.

Hi Lori...it appears your cat may have tapeworms. This is caused when a cat ingests fleas and their eggs while grooming themselves. A veterinarian will prescribe a dewormer that will eliminate the tapeworms.

Keep her some food and water available and get her to the vet ASAP to get dewormed!
