I have a black cat who is about 2 years old. Recently, we've had a very stressful time, and have had to move homes. We've been here for a month now, and things are just now starting to get bad. She's attacking my mother's cat for no reason whatsoever. He will be sitting there, minding his own business, and she will suddenly run at him SCREAMING and attack him.

She was treated very badly as a kitten by my ex boyfriend (he would beat her hard just for knocking over his toy collections), but since I got rid of him almost three years ago, she has been shown nothing but love and care.

I would understand her behavior if she was being mistreated, but she has free roam of the house, she's fed well, there's always fresh water, her litter is kept clean, and she has plenty of windows to look out of. Another thing that confuses me is, she doesn't act this way towards my other cat!

What can I do to get her to stop this behavior? I worry the only solution is to drug her, but I'd hate to do it!

I purchased a 150 gallon aquarium for 20$ It has a crack in the bottom. I've read up on how to reseal it, but the problem is replacing the glass. It has a steel plate on the bottom for support. I don't know how hard it's going to be to replace with that steel plate in the way. Is it possible to just put a thicker peice of glass on top of the cracked one and seal it there?

i will be switching to a goods dog brand once we finish up pedigree. which ones do you recommend? i was at the pet shop the other day and they were promoting nutrience dog food. now i had never heard of nutrience so i knew it couldnt be good dog food but they said to me thats its the same as innova. after checking the ingredients, i pointed out to them all the corn meals and everything and you should've seen their faces. they were like ****, this girl knows her dog food!

anyway, just wanted to tell you that. which one do you recommend?

He came home one day with 2 hole-like wounds in his leg and he had to get stiches and a cast. What should I do when he takes his cast off completely and bites at his stiches, opening up his wound? How do I get him to stop?

I found a kitten tonight - well its small but could be about 3-6 months old. It was crying in the yard so I put a bowl of food out for it and went shopping. When I came back it had climbed my tree and was crying again. I got it down and asked around the neighborhood but apparently its a stray. Its a female. I think it may be in heat or something because it keeps on meowing. Its fine. walking, eating, drinking, purring etc it just won't stop with this really loud meowing. I was going to keep it overnight and take it to the Humane Society in the morning, but I think this meowing is going to drive u nuts. Is there anything (humane and legal please) that will quiet a cat in heat? Is it possible that a kitten as young as this would be in heat? Any ideas for me please? My cats are fixed and boys so we never went through this with them.

Last night, my ,9 year old black lab-golden retrever, dog was barking. I didnt think much of it cause he does it whenever he sees something. However, when i let him in the house the next morning, he was slow to get in. He can't look up now for some reason. (unless he is sitting down) when he was laying down and i was next to him and called him, instead of lifting his head up, he just shifted his eyes to me. he is having trouble getting up, and only wants to lay down. Is he sick or did something bad happen to him? I will appreciate any sort of help.

We have a small dog who is about 2 yrs old.. we found him wodering the streets (a year ago). When we take him out for walks or just to the store and he sees other dogs he cries. He is the only dog we have at the moment and I think he is just lonely and needs a friend but we can't afford another dog at the moment.. when we get home is gets overly excited.. we give him a lot of attention and we play with him all the time, take him for walks... so why does he cry when he sees other dog's???? is he lonely???

someone abanden a dog outside my cousins house they took the animal in and gave it to me we got shots, food, registered and have an appt for spay. The people came back 2 months later and are demanding the dog back.
