I'm not sure, but I'm very sorry for your loss. You need to contact your vet sooner than later for some professional help and advice.

The mother dog is trying to protect the puppy by getting her out of the open area. The best thing to do is have a kennel for the puppy and the dog. They can be alone together, dogs are not perfect and the other puppy that died was probably accidental. Also not all puppies in every litter will live. That is normal.

Listen Patsy --- you have been asking questions all over the place that evidence you don't have a clue about what you are doing... you made a litter of puppies, all dead but one now, and likely that one will die and maybe your b*tch as well... she likely is sick -- maybe you didn't get her to the vet after delivering (surprise) and she didn't get an oxytocin shot and now she has a metritis and is likely making her puppies sick and will likely die herself if she doesn't recieve veterinary care... this is why people who don't know how to drive shouldn't be taking a semi down interstate 5 in the three lane... geez... get your ***** proper veterinary care -- the pup will likely die as it is probably already fading and will be dead before morning... you b*tch might live if you get her care...

Thats terribly sad a puppy died!im sorry to hear taht. Well it is a "mothers" nature to care for her own pupies. Im sure it was an accident. Watch tehm and keep tehm locked in an area where there is nothing dangerous like the bathroom. Use the tub as a bed and ya.=)

your other pup died, most of the time a dog knows when theres something wrong w/ the pup and will carry it off,if your really worried take the pup to a vet. maybe it can still make it

What breed. If she is a staffy, i wouldnt most staffis tend to smoosh there puppies. Our dogs mum smooshed 3 female pups.( pure breds mind u) Never cross staffis.....
Shes just trying to protect her puppy, as she prob wont like u touching them..
Our family has a dog but we breed cats...

No, you can't leave her alone.. You haven't provided her a save place to raise her puppies and she is paranoid that she is going to lose him. She is looking for a good spot that is safe and quiet.. it's up to you to provide that for her..

Its ok, she is hidding pup to protect it. There are many reasons a puppy can die, its not the mom's fault. You can leave her alone.

this is the third question I have seen by you so far. Please call a veterinarian. None of us are qualified to answer your questions. Your b*tch needs help and so does Jack. You should not have bred her. Please have her spayed.
