Yes. Mine does... but she's also mixed with lab. Poodles are said not to shed a lot, that's why the labradoodle is sold not only as a 'designer dog' *cringes at the term* but also hypoallergenic.

They shed a ton. You could make a rug out of all the heair year round. It's worse when they malt. All dogs shed, some not as much. GSD's are great, but the dog also depends on your lifestyle. Diet helps with shedding. Get it on a high quality, if possible grain-free diet. Some foods are EVO, Acana, Orijen, Innova, Before Grain, Three Dog Bakery. NO groocery/department store foods. They do not benefit you or your dog at all. Daily brushing helps, as well as using a furminator. They work wonders. Best of luck!

I have a German Shepherd/Husky mix and OMG she shed's a small dog twice year. LOL

they shed heavily i hope you like all your rugs covered in dog hair. on the plus side you can knit yourself some nice fur coats for the winter. lol

Of course they do -- all warm blooded animals shed and require grooming to maintain health -- you do, I do, all dogs and cats do...

They shed so badly. I keep mine very well groomed.. and I still have to vacuum daily.

Yes they do ! They need weekly brushing if not daily . Monthly grooming appt. wouldn't hurt either

Yes, GSD had a double coat and they will "Blow" their coat twice a year.

YES they do, all year long!!!!!!!!!But they're worth every piece of hair I pick up!
