We think our larger female dog might be pregnant by our tiny male dog. We were told the small dag was fixed before we got him, but found out too late that he hadn't been. She's lactating and has become some what cranky. Since the daddy is a small breed, we don't expect her to get very big. Could this be a pseudo pregnancy? I was pregnant for about 3 months and misscarried. Right after I came home from the hospital is when she started lactating. Yes I know I should have had her fixed so please don't post answers telling me something I all ready know. I got both my dogs from people who didn't want them or didn't have time to care for them. We know for a fact that she couldn't haven been gotten by any neighboring dogs due to the fact she's never outside without a leash. We would have had her fixed by now but I'm diabetic and in and out of the hospital and somehow manage to miss the chances to get her fixed.

My mouse has been suffering from an eye infection and it appears that he is at his last night and is suffering. He is currently bleeding and looks to be in pain. I would like to put him down so he doesnt suffer. How should I go about doing this?

I have a calico mix female. She's about 4 years old, I believe. Absolutely crazy cat but she's my sister's baby. Well, my sis moved off to college recently and the cat has been acting more bizzare than usual. She's even peed in the middle of the living room today after I changed her box. Is this because she misses my sister? How can I get her to stop?

i recently got a puppy and she is beautiful, but they gave her to me as a yorkie 3 weeks ago when i got her i thought she did look like a yorkie just that she is still little and she might change her color as she gets older, but i see no change in her at all. so my question is the following. what kind of dog does she look like?

Does this have to much sweet stuff in it? i have 8 lovebirds. 2 adults and 6 babies (ages vary from 5 months to 2 weeks)

Cornbread/muffin mix
Sun flower seed (or what ever your bird likes)
Honey
Egg
Penut butter
Favorite veggies (of the bird not you :P )

Mix as if you were baking a regular cake/muffin add the fruits egg(if required) then bake. When cooled, cut a small hole about 3/4 into the muffin/cake from the top then fill it with peanut butter. Then glaze the top in honey and add sunflower(or whatever seed you bought) and sprinkle it on top. Serve appropriatly to the size of your bird. good for birthday or really special treat

In october my Friend is getting a dog and im getting a cat our idea was to go to the shelter together and adopt our pets and then go to PETCO together to buy supplies with our animals and take them in the store together.I was wondering if it would put to much stress on the animals and if it was a good idea. Also if I didnt go with her i would be able to get a kitten earlier.

is it unheathy for your hamsters back to be in a ball a few timess a week? i kno you should never put a guinea pig in one b/c of their back structure and its not as bendable as smaller rodents..

but is it damaging for my hamsters back if i put him in it say everyother day?

he has a wheel in his cage but i liek for him to go beyond that and he looks liek he always wants to get out.. i hold him a lot but i liek for him to explore the grounds.. not loose or i will never find him.. so is a ball good for say 20 min every other day?

I bought him yesterday and he has not eaten any of the reptile sticks or lettuce i present him with. I split the stick in half and he put it in his mouth then let it out. The lettuce he did the same thing. He has been in the same tank i got him in at the store. What should i do?

I'd like to set up a filtered 5- or 10-gal tank. I don't want to deal with a heater. I live in SoCal, so the water temp would vary from 65 deg in the winter to 85 deg in the summer.

Can I keep some tetras or guppies with an algae eater or plecostomus?

What about just a couple of those little fantail goldfish?

Where my husband works the snapping turtles will lie their eggs in the piles of dirt or rocks. my husband would load them into a dump truck. well now he looks out for them and brings them home. we hatch them and when they are big enough we take them back to his work and let them go by the river. this year i met someone that cares for them till they are big enough to take care if them self. right now they are so tiny. Today when i came home from work i looked in on them. and sure enough we have our first baby. but the umbilcal cord is still on it. and i dont remember if we just left it or what. can someone please help me.

I am really fed up with her. She tears up the garbage when she knows its a bad choice. Poops in the house, stuff like that.. I love her but am afraid she may hurt someone really bad. My cat is 7 years old and he has become more aggressive since I brought in another cat. Just tonight he went to bite my leg and often doesn't want to be held and nips at me when I pet him. My new cat is so loving and let's me pet him all over and is so gentle he wouldn't hurt a fly. My 7-year-old seems like he's getting meaner by the day and is becoming more unpredictable by the minute. This is very frustrating since I don't want to play favorites, but my new cat is so much nicer and well-behaved. What do I do? I do want to add that I did not have this cat for seven years, but only for 12 weeks. My husband and I decided to rescue an older cat, since people tend to adopt kittens. We then wanted to supplement the older cat's life with a companion, hence we adopted the younger cat who is just 9 months old. Were we wrong in doing this and how do we fix it? Also, we did leave the newbie in a separate room for a few days to let them smell one another and then brought him out in stages.

I am not liking leaving the heat lamp on at night I have heard bad things about the under tank heating pads, I am trying to figure out maybe other ways to keep her warm with out the light, but I am afraid of hurting her. I have been told that these malfunction alot and end up heating the snake to much. Just wondering other peoples thoughts about this.

Hi yall. So im looking at get a small dog in about a year for my birthday like i got my one got when i turned 11. I would like to know what breeds you would recomd? They CAN NOT NOT NOT!!!!! Be poodles or Chwawas(cant spell AH!) Or my mom would kill me. (I need a she)She'll be an inside dog because i already have 3 inside/out pets(thats teh limit in my subdiviosin)
I would like to take her on trips with me. I already have a Large 120 or so pound dog called Starr. Starr is a rotwiler/dobermend mix. And if i can get her from the pound thell pay one of the clincs here for her spaying. And its not the one my fam knows and trust really much like the other one we use(heck they know us). But last time i got an animal from the ound was my 2(or 3(i forget)) Kitten named Dippy and they didnt sew her up right and she was leaking oozey discharge all over the house for a week.

So what would you recommend? Oh and shell have to be "fed" to my moms cat. Dont ask. Scooter wont eat her. (cont'd)
