I have a 20 gallon aquarium someone gave to me because they moved. Anyway right now I have 2 goldfish that are very naughty and they attack and kill the algae & snails I had in the tank. When my friend had fish she had 3 goldfish and some kind of silver colored fish and they left the algae eater alone. Just wondering what fish would be compatible with the bottom feeders.

I have this kitten that is missing one of her back paws due to a birth defect. She has her leg so she can kind of walk on it (it's like a little pirate peg leg). She's sick with a URI and her meds are causing her to have diarrhea. Because of her little leg, when she uses the litter box she comes out COVERED in liquidy poop and particles of litter. I need sugestions!!! I have had her almost a month and she gets "butt baths" atleast every couple days. She was off the meds for a week and her poop situation got better, but her cold got worse so she went back on the meds, hense the return of the poop wars. PLUS, she's medium haired... so that only makes the situation worse. Any suggestions? I desperate here!! Help!

... getting a horse one of these days so i could take him out on the trails whenever I wanted. Nothing special, no jumping, racing, just a good horse that I could enjoy time with, maybe even take him into my yard for an afternoon and groom. Is there a breed that would be best for this?

I've always had dogs, this is my first cat. He is a male, was adopted at a few months, he was found in the dumpster. he is a good kitty, playful and mischievious, but all in all a great cat. I was away for 8 days. I had my cousin come in every day to feed and water the cat. I felt bad, but asked around and the general consensus was that this was ok. I knew McCoy would be lonely, but.....well, this was the decision I made and I think it was the wrong one. Since we have been back, I think McCoy is terrified we are going to leave again. He waits right behind the door when we leave, he cries when anyone is behind closed doors (the bathroom). He's better, but he's not the same as he was. I think I made the wrong decision, is there any way to make him feel less anxious?

For those of you who have bashed my previous question, I have searched countless hours for a breeder. I have only found one and she acted as if my dog wasn't good enough to even come close to her male,and she was going to charge $700. My female is beautiful and registered with a great pedigree. Just because I haven't showed her and what not does not make her inferior. I love my dog and I have looked everywhere in my area, for those of you who think that spaying is the answer, you are ridiculous I want some puppies so that other people may enjoy my breed of dog just as much as I have, and I am up for the responsibility. I wouldn't have brought my dog all the way from Arkansas when I moved here if I didn't care about her. By the way this is a public forum and I am sure I am not the only one who has asked similar questions.

I read that if you put your pregnant guppy in a separate tank for her to give birth and their is not anoff free space for her to swim around she can become stressed. I put my preg guppy in a one gallon tank is that enough room for her? There is no other fish in the tank and she doesn’t seem stressed.

And 1 more question what is she doing by opening her mouth really wide out of no wear? Is their something wrong?

Hey I got a betta fish named finn a week ago, and he's been swimming at the bottom of the container, his color is fading, and hes practically still all the time.The pet store manager was no help at all.He was some sleezy high schooler.I feed him a few flakes a day, and I just want him to be happy and healthy! my dog will not stay in the yard. whenever i let him of the leash/chain he takes off to the neighbors..we have a private drive and he doesnt go out of it but he still runs to see the other dog next door. But if u keep him on a chain and let him go he wont run away how do i get the dog to stay without hurting him in any way. and making him listen and want to come? He also doesnt come when he's call but he isnt stupid he catches on quick and already knows how to sit stay shake with both hands and lie down. HELP!!!!

i fed my female betta one betta pellet last night and she spit it out so i didn't feed her again till today..i fed her one pellet and she spit it out again. I have some freeze dried blood worms i was wondering if i should try to feed her those and if she likes them can i feed just blood worms?

well ive have this fish tank for about 7 months now. every week i check the ph levels in my fish tank there always at exacty 7.0 but for some reason in these past 3 days fish have been dying i have a 30 gallon tank with
1 pleco- died
2 gouramis-one died today
2 guppies-both died
1 platty
3- silver dollars
5 tetras
2 pangasius catfish - 1 died
3 mollies- all dissapeared

so far 5 fish died.

i haveent chaged anything in the tank alll the levels are perfect.i havent added anything to the fish tank why are all my fish dying the water is crystal clear. the last time i did a water change was about 3 weeks ago when cleaning the gravel . any answers appreciated thank you bye.

Why does my little chaha have balding spots on her back? She is never around any other dogs except our other chaha she is not loosing her hair. There is no kind of worms in her poop or there are no sores on her

It thundered and lightning'd ( not a real word) last night and he kept scratching at the screen door like Freddy Crougar for like an hour and a half. Ripped a hole in the screen. I am so mad. He's never done that before and we have had him for 3 years. Does anyone else have scaredy cat pooches?

I have a 7 month old Golden Retriever. Lately she has been stealing food from the kitchen counter. Yesterday alone she got pancakes, garlic bread and bacon!!!!! I have never owned a big dog before, so I've never had this problem. Please tell me how to get her to stop. Yelling, hitting and sending her outside isn't working. My husband wants to get a shock collar... what are your thoughts?
