My cats drool and roll in it.... then they lick it up and they run around hitting the walls... thats why I don't give it to them anymore... It was actually quite cute though! ;)

Most cats go crazy for catnip. They roll over it, lick it, or run around like crazy. One of my cats used to drool so much because of it. They like it because they have a receptor for it in the vomeronasal organ. I've read in many places it isn't good for cats, but I don't see how considering it's just a plant in the same family as mint. Oh and they say 30% of cats do not respond to the catnip at all.

catnip is a herb that changes the cats mood with its smell. So if you want a loving cat all the time leave catnip out all the time. Catnip is like a drug high so I would not do this all the time

My cats will start to sniff the catnip. Then they will rub on it and then usually run around the house like crazy! It is very entertaining to watch. Some cats don't respond to catnip though. I have one that won't touch it.

Not all are effected by it, but you'll totally notice if your pet is. Usually they will get frisky, roll around on the catnip source, and meow. In my experience, the girls are most susceptible to catnip.

My cats both eat it. It's funny to see since it's really dry so they have a hard time getting it down, but afterwards they fight each other and it's the most amusing and entertaining thing to watch EVER!

Some cats go wild, rolling around in it and losing all feline dignity. Others, just completely ignore it. There's no telling how they will react but it's hilarious when they go wild for it !

One of my cats falls over and kicks herself in the head playfully. She does it also when one of our small dogs plays with her- it's so funny, especially since she's so old!
