There's really not much you can do to help. The fish will hide for the first few days because she is getting settled into her new home. Make sure you have plenty of plants for her to hide in. Don't be concerned about her not eating the first few days this is normal.
You might want to remove her and put her in something else. The adult females will more than likely pick on her or could even kill her. Females fight like the males but they do it to establish a pecking order. Since the baby is smaller it makes her a easy target.

You have to seperate them right away

The bigger one will bully her to no end and it may result in death

Never put only 2 females together
keep either 1 in a 5 gallon tank, or at least 3 in a 10 gallon tank

With only 2, one will always dominate the other

But with 3 they will choose a so called peckingorder and they will be fine with each other if there are enough live plants for them to hide

Hope that helps
good luck

If you had a 10 gallon tank with 5 there would be less trouble because of the increased room and the aggression would be spread out among more bettas.Temporarily you could get what's called a net breeder and put her in that for a few day then try reintroducing her, make sure she has some hiding places to get away for the more aggressive bettas.

Can you keep her in a smaller container until she gets a bit bigger? We had an adorable small baby who also was freaked out and I kept her in a one gallon container and then added her to the 10 gallon in a week -- as long as the water is clean, it will be fine.

Most new fish would be hiding from everyone and every-fish. I would just be patient. She would get comptable and should be fine soon!
