i recently got a puppy and she is beautiful, but they gave her to me as a yorkie 3 weeks ago when i got her i thought she did look like a yorkie just that she is still little and she might change her color as she gets older, but i see no change in her at all. so my question is the following. what kind of dog does she look like?
here is a pic of her.

Yorkie mixed with either Maltese, or Poodle. There can be a possible 4 way mix with some Shih-tzu or Lasa. One parent could have been a Yorkie and the other a 3 way cross. Shes very cute though... I would just dub her a Yorkie Mix

First answerer! That would be ONE HORRIBLY bred Yorkie if that was a purebred. Its too broad faced, and curly coated.

Could very well be a Yorkshire Terrier. You are fortunate that someone gave the pup to you! They are a popular little pet. Yorkie's coloring can vary a lot from red to almost a blonde, some with a black saddle. Some as they mature will turn silver but not all.

She's definitly not purebred, possibly mixed with shih tzu. It's hard to tell when they're so young. I'm sure you'll love her and she'll be a great dog, but if you really wanted a yorkie, and paid for what you thought was a yorkie, you should demand it be a yorkie. If I had a paid for what I thought was the purebred dog I was after, and ended up with a mutt, I'd be pissed. I'd love the dog anyways, but I'd get my money back.

It looks like a powder puff chinese crested puppy. I know, you're thinking 'those dogs are hairless'. Actually there are two varieties. The hairless and the powder puff. The powder puff has medium lenth silky fur that doesn't need as much care as a yorky's.

Looks like a mix of maybe Yorkie and Pomeranian to me. That face looks Pom, damn she is so cute, and looks really soft like a cotton ball. Awe.......

Possibly a yorkie mix.... it might be purebred ( i have a yorkie and his ears don't stick up even though he is purebred). You should ask a vet or a breeder
