Last night i put front line on my cat and this morning he fur is wet where she has been licking at it. She is super flexible and it is no problem for her to lick between her sholders. I'm not sure what to do about it though.

hi,

i have a golden pup of 3 months. he sleeps outside in our pergola area. When it gets dark at night, does it matter to dogs if we leave a light on?

Me and my husband live with a really nice family (mum, dad, boy and girl) in a houseshare and I'm buying a kitten today and naturally everyone is really excited especially the kids, but I feel really annoyed as the mum seems to think that I'm buying it for everyone when she told me it's my responsibility. She even said that I could put it on her little's girls bed as a suprise when I bring it home which really annoyed me as it's my cat not theirs. Am I being selfish or not?

took her in and we got her to a healthy wait and has gotten all of her shots. Unfortunately they couldnt tell us what age she was. She now is pregnant and we dont know her past and she has been pregnant for 6 weeks. He nipples are filled with milk and you can feel the puppies move and she breathes really heavily for the past couple of weeks. She is ready to burst. Seriously i dont think she can hold anymore and she cant even jump up on the couch anymore either. Can you tell me when she should be having the puppies and what are signs we should look out for when she goes into labor?

An unneutered GORGEOUS white male cat showed up at my house a few days ago, and by the fact that he's so friendly I assume he has (or had) an owner, but by the fact he's kinda skinny and is unneutered makes me think maybe he wasn't taken care of. Either way, I'm caring for him while trying to find his owner...and if he were mine, he'd be neutered, so don't tell me to just get him fixed. If no one resonds to an ad within 2 weeks he shall be chopped.

But my question is...and sorry if this is gross...is it normal for a male cat to get feces on his balls? Like I know it's all in the general vicinity, and maybe it's just more noticable because he's pure white, but it really seems like he frequently has poo on his balls (till he bathes again) and it's grossing me out. I'm pregnant so I can't touch cat feces in any way so I can't wipe him. I just want to know is this normal?

A friend of mine has this small dog who I think is confused that it's a member of the feline species that it keeps on hounding the cat as if it is the cat's protector or guardian.

One day he heard the cat screaming and discovered the dog is having sex with his cat! My friend knew the dog is successful since it took some time for the dog to disconnect from the cat. Though the dog suffered scratches on its neck and the sides which obviously came from the cat when she was being raped.

So, is it possible for a dog to impregnate the cat?

and they put an Elizabethan collar on him so he won't lick his stiches. My question is, will he adjust to this thing? He bumps into things with it and seems to be having difficulty eating and drinking with it on. I feel so sorry for him.

Right. So apparently, goldfish are out of the question. :P

And so are adult male bettas, and female bettas (I heard that after they have babehs, the males have a little snack.)

So what fish CAN you put in there?

He did not get wet (we knew he was not supposed to go swimming or get a bath until they are removed) but he started playing with this other dog and by the time we thought about the sand getting in his staples it was too late. It does not look infected, or red or anything and it does not seem to be sore to him. But it looks like sand is stuck on the scab that had healed over the cut by the staples. Should I worry? Do I need to take him to the vet? They get removed next Monday. We brushed off the sand and wiped off the sand around the area, but I want to know if I should do something more. please help!

I just bought 3 goldfish the other day, all of which were fine except one which had a fish lice on it which I removed and treated. Now I'm noticing ick developing, and it might be from the change of tanks, but I'm sure it's from the stress of the parasite. I looked online and found out that the ick treatment I bought for my last goldfish only kills what's fallen to the tank, not what's on them. I don't want my fish to die again! I read about the salt treatment, where you dilute and put 3 teaspoons of salt per every gallon, and as an example they said that would be 30 tspns for 10 gallons (what I have). They say it's a treatment for goldfish but this doesn't sound right! I don't want to kill my fish by adding salt to their water, but I don't want them to die of ick either. I need confirmation that the salt treatment is safe for goldfish, that just seems like a lot of salt to put in 10 gallons!
