Okay. My dog will sit, stay, laydown, rollover, jump threw hoops, and a gazillian other tricks. She takes regular walks with me next to my side and rides next to my bike everyday. She. just. won't. respect. me!! I've watched the Dog Whisperer constantly, I've practically memorized how he does everything. I try it myself but no matter what I do she will listen to my dad over me. She won't come if she's busy sniffing something, she won't sit when I tell her to if she is fixated on something else. So she reallys gets on my nerves and I've become obsessive over being her alpha. Ive tried to be nice and award her for the good things she does and correct her for the bad. No matter what I do she won't listen. I wonder if im doing something wrong? I walk threw doorways first, I make her sit and stay for her food. I do everything right but she still won't listen. I think she hates me now because im always telling her to do things and I get frusterated and yell and sometimes smack her. Help plz!

I have a 10g fresh water fish tank. I have heard that cleaner shrimp really do clean your tank. I have an algea problem, and I am getting cleaner today, but other wise, I have not way of cleaning the gravel or the fake plants. Can cleaner shrimp live in freshwater?? are there any other fish,shrimp, or water creatures that you can buy at a pet store that clean your tank?

i just bot a 12 gallon starter kit from petco i have a 12 gallon with bio wheel filter a heater 20lbs sand 3lbs of live rock a back ground for the tank a tank light chemechls bio coat helps maintain ph level stress relife for fish hydro meterit has the right ph level marine flakes 2 fake plants one reaches to the surface of the water and the other one is under water a net and i want to no if their is anything alse i need because im going to get fish

need some helping advise,a friend has a coya carp fish its about 20 years old and his called (old bob)he keeps swimming on its side,even when its not swimming it still lays on its side his been like this for a long time,is there anything what could be done to bring him upright again.

I don't do alot of extra things for my horse in the way of suppliments for my horse. They are healthy and well taken care of but my question is this..I have a friend who is always adding things to her horses feed, giving injections for this or that, and then she gripes because her horse won't work for her. I think she is doing to much to him and he has all this crap in him and he doesn't know what to do. She trys all the new gimmicks to make your horse do this or that. I don't get it. Never have. I have noticed this alot in our profession and my friend is a very good horsewoman and I don't get how she doesn't see that all this crap is hurting her horse. I have tried to talk to her but she doesn't or won't hear me. Girls-guys any answers?

My rabbit just gave birth to 2 litters in the last 3 months. After the first one I noticed one of her front teeth had gotten croocked and now it is longer than the other. She does not like to chew on cage toys. Is their anything else I can do to keep her tooth from getting to long? My other rabbit is so aggressive that she can not be kept near any other rabbit. I have heard that ginea pigs get along well with Rabbits. Would a ginea pig get along with my rabbit or is that just asking for trouble.

my 6year old dogs hearing has become very sensative over the past 2years or so. With any high pitched noise he cries and howls. It has been getting worse latley especially when watching tv or listing to music. This seems to be very uncomfortable for him and its not good for me eithor having listen to him. Does anyone have any experience in this area?? is there anything i can do??

I'm assuming they are nematodes from what I've researced on the internet. I own a 10 Gallon freshwater fishtank with 1 mystery snail, 2 guppies, 1 sailfin molly. Noticed little white worm like things swimming around, they stick to the glass, they're making the tank look horrible! I've cut back on how much I feed them, but after a week of doing that, they are still there.
Do these hurt the fish at all? And, is there anything I can do our buy to get rid of them??

I went on vacation. and I had my friend take care of her while I was gone. She has a hamster of her own. She kept the two hamsters in different cages. But while I was gone her hamster passed away. She said that the hamster stopped and then peed and just fell over. Could have my hamster gave the other hamster lots of stress?

I have a russian hamster that bites a lot. I wash my hands like a billion times so it doesn't smell like food but all she does is bite. Is there anything I can do to train her not to bite? Help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 small kids (6 months old and 4 yrs old) and am trying to find a good furry kid to add to the brood. The local lab rescue called and has a 5 yr old female yellow lab who they say is very laid back and shows no signs of aggressions. What do you think? What are our chances of bringing her into our home and all of the kids, skin and furry, getting along well together? Just curious since we're adoping an adult and not a pup - what are people's experience with adult dogs and children?

Do you believe that a dog that has OFA Excellent rated hips will have more restricted movement than a dog rated OFA Fair?
In some smaller breeds like mine the hips are not as crucial to the well being of the dog. A Corgi can have mild hip dysplasia and show no symptoms. Would you breed a Corgi with a OFA Borderline rating? I am contemplating this now. If I do breed her I would check all her puppies hips to see what she throws.
