If you're asking about white cloud mountain minnows (see picture: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=16&cat=1945&articleid=2500 ) they can get from 2-5 years old, depending on conditions and care.

I dont know about your fish but I have a gold fish tank they are about 10 years old and still seem healthy
