my 6year old dogs hearing has become very sensative over the past 2years or so. With any high pitched noise he cries and howls. It has been getting worse latley especially when watching tv or listing to music. This seems to be very uncomfortable for him and its not good for me eithor having listen to him. Does anyone have any experience in this area?? is there anything i can do??

Call your vet. Your pooch may have an inner ear problem.

I'm sorry I can't think of anything that you would be able to do other than to consult with a vet. Your dog may have an ear infection or perhaps had an ear infection that went undetected and has traveled down the ear canal and if so, could cause a great deal of pain. I would really suggest that you speak with your vet about this.

Take him to the vet and get him to check his ears.. Going over him from top to bottom.. It could be as simple as an ear infection but it might be something more serious.
