I have found 1.5 cm black shinny things on our baby's feeding chair.

It is a much larger than a grain of rice, mice feces are about the size of grain of rice - and if it is shinny then it must be fresh... Keep all food products out of reach, counter tops wiped off and put on the floor some rat glue-traps. They are nocturnal (rats) so you can put the traps up in the morning. They are really nuisances and if there is one - there are more than likely much more. Do disinfect the babies chair prior to your babies meals. Probably many on the answers on yahoo will not like the idea of glue-traps, however they work!!! Just try to catch one to verify that it is a rat, then make a personal decision on how to go about exterminating them from there..Good Luck.

posibly i hav 2 rats at home and they look like "raisins" as there called and are dark brown. Im not sure about the white part. If the rat is living in your house maybe it ate something. not try to be gross but maybe u or someone else should smell it im sure some random boy woulndt mind sniffing it they do that kind a thing hope it helps!

Too big to be rat poop. Rat poop isn't shiny either, very dull brown, and about 3/4 cm in length. Depending on where you live, it could be a hedge hog, or a young racoon but it's not a rat!

They look like black grains of rice. Better disinfect your baby's feeding chair and get a cat.

Rat feces looks like raisins from a distance, only smooth on the outside instead of wrinkly (liek a real raisin). They are about the size of raisins, too. Don't eat the crunchy raisins! :-X

MICE poo looks like black rice...
RAT poo looks like smooth(sometimes shiny) blackish-brown sultanas or small raisins... This is why a fair few rat owners call them Ratty Raisins...
If you catch it in a humane trap, you can send it to me! (I will pay for transportation! Depends where you live though!)
