They go "in heat" which is the equivalent.. There are a few differences
They do not bleed enough to notice (dogs do, but not cats)
If they don't get pregnant, they will go back in heat in 2 weeks.
You can tell when a female is in heat because she meows, rubs alot against stuff, acts gross (sticking her bum in the air) Basically drives ya nuts.
They should be speyed around 6 months of age.

No. Cats do not have a menstrual cycle, so if you see blood or any discharge at a cat's rear end you need to go straight to a vet. Cats have an oestral cycle instead; they do not ovulate during each cycle but are induced ovulators, only releasing eggs when mated.

Yes,a cat will go into heat,usually starting at about 6 months of age,and can come into heat anytime after that as,they do not have regular cycles like dogs. When they come into heat,they will roll on the floor,howl,and do a little dance with their rear end sticking up in the air.It's quite amusing at first,but it quickly becomes annoying,and some cats in heat will urinate in the house.Now is the time to get your cat spayed,so that she does not get pregnant.

To viji. Yes they do get a menstral cycle. It is called in heat for animals. You can't tell it because animals are very clean
