Your dog has an ear infection and needs to get to his vet. The vet needs to exam it to find out what kind of infection so he can give him the correct antibiotics. Don't delay - ear infections are very, very painful!

I am not a vet but I would recommend u taking ur dog to the vet, I watched my dog go thru this a few times, If it is an earache, they are very painful, please take him to the vet. If it is an infetiocn all the vet will do is probably swab his ears and send you home with some meds to start him on(antibiotics). My vet sent us home also with an ear flush. Does the ear feel as if its really warm, if so than it probably is an ear infection, I would take him to the vet.

You need to actually go to a vet's office. This sounds like a serious ear infection and only a vet prescribed medication will cure it.

Need more info..... Is the irritation inside the ear?,Or outside the ear? Outside could be FLY STRIKE. (This is a result from flies biting ear tips. Coat w/ vaseline. Inside could be from (if ears are cropped) the sun. Animals get sun burns too. Put a hat on your dog. Or if there is what looks like dirt inside the ear 10 to 1 it is EAR MITES ' this requires Miticide Drops, from a vet

It's either an ear infection or an allergy. You need a Vet to determine which one it is. Both are easily treated.
