Origionally we found this cat with other babies and their mommy around. Then we found this cat alone and we left her there overnight. This morning i walked out and it looks like she is dying. I have no clue what to do. My parents arent home and i cant drive. Its breaking my heart to watch this cat dying or what looks like. It goes into a long cycle of not breathing then wakes up and starts crying then it starts all over again. I put this cat in a box w. the top open and some blankets. What else can i do?! PLEASE HELP

I LOVE feeding the wild birds in my yard and I have tons of bird feeders hanging in my yard and lots of diffrent species come and feed.I've started wondering since I'm inviting so many birds into my yard am I putting my self and family at risk from contracting the Bird Flu Virus??? I don't handle the birds at all but I do come in contact with the feeders when I take them own to clean them>

My dog's eye is shut and it wont open it. It is not acting like itself. It doesnt even want carrots. She loves carrots and she looks really hurt. She is 8 years old, what should I do???????

My dog has been acting older since we got a new puppy - he gets very cranky and pouty and seems stiff and sore. He spends most of the time he used to spend running sleeping, and in the past six months since we've gotten the other dog, his muzzle has gone very white. He's about 8 years old. could the new dog be the reason he's so cranky?

Also - he seems to be angry at us for bringing her in. He's definitely jealous. It's to the point that if she gets something that he doesn't he'll attack her and not let us touch him. I've been very worried about him lately. Is there anything I can do?

Below is a picture of a horse I went to look at a few days ago that I am thinking about buying to begin hunter under saddle training. I bought my first horse from these people and they always have very nice horses, so I know she is coming from a good place. Personally I think her conformation looks good and she is a really nice mover with a smooth trot. She has great ground manners and she's got plenty of get up and go which I like. Does her price seem fair? I know horse prices are down right now, and I know I'll be paying more for her color, she's drop dead gorgeous, but it seems a little high to me. Would $4000 be a fair offer?

I had 4 guppies. The tank was really nasty, just dirty, but all the levels were ok. Nitrate, ph, etc. Anyway, last night I decided to clean the entire tank. I placed the fish in a separate container and dumped the tank, cleaned the rocks & the decorations I had, filled it back up with water. I waited 2 hours before putting them back in. By that time the water levels were normal and the temp was perfect. But I wake up to find 2 of the guppies dead. The other 2 are hovering by the heater and don't really swim anywhere. What am I doing wrong?! A guppy is a pretty easy fish to care for. Any tips or ideas on what's happening?! Thank you so much!!

I have a dog who is very old he is 14...well he is deaf now, dosen't play anymore, missing some teeth, weak bladder and poops in the house...

He is probably on his last months of living and to think of him not being with me anymore breaks my heart...I just don't know how to handle it...I like having that comfort around me and do I get a new pet right away...is the pain as bad as losing your father or a close relative? I am at the point where I am having nightmares about it :-(

We already have him on a specially formulated low phospherous/ low high protein diet to aid slowing down the progression of the disease. But want to know if any one else with a dog with the same condition has had any luck utilising other treatments etc Also, and I know this is a piece of string question, but how long will a dog live (on average and with care) from being diagnosed as being in the early stages of this disease to death. His illness breaks my heart as he is a great dog, can any body help? Thanks

Basicly our cat was fine around the house until we took in a stray for a few weeks. She was very jealous. After we rehoused the stray she started going beserk when she saw other cats outside and now marks territory inside as well as outside.

I'm very excited to say I will soon be getting a new puppy (I have a yellow lab right now). I'm a dog groomer, and have lots of experience with dogs and I just love them! I have a general idea of how I can potty train my future puppy, but I'd really like to hear some of your helpful opinions, and what worked best for you.

hi hope someone can help ,my husband rescued a stray cat last year ,she was heavily pregnant and had been bitten badly and needed urgent treatment she wasnt micro chipped so we took her in hoping to get her spey .unfortunetly we cant afford it soon after taking her in we hit finacial probs and we need to rehome her because she has become pregnant again and its not fair to her to keep on having kittens ,cats protection said they are full ,so i wondered if any one knew of any other good organisations ,we have really struggled with the decision to let her go so only genuine answers please.x

And from what i am reading on this site that the puppy has no chance to be normall. Beacuse it only has me to depend on .Well i am asking for advice to give this puppy the best chance to be a normal pup and the dog. It has been the the vet and he is healty active and playfull. I have a 10 Gallon tank with one female betta. She is a stunning red color. What I have noticed is when I leave the tank light off for a day or so, her color turns dull, almost a muted peach color. When I leave the light on for 12 or more hours she turns a deep blood red color. I have looked everywhere and I cant find an answer as to why. Thoughts?

i have a cat that has no equillibrium, very wobbly, but it does get around ok, everything is normal, for the most part. but i cant ( for the life of me ) figure out why it will not use the litter box. he will actually do his business right beside it. the cat is cute, but im afraid that if it doesnt figure out how to use the litter box, then the cat will wind up diving for gold at the bottom of the river. ive been working with the animal for the last month, and yet still no sucess. can you help?

I have been missing two kittens and they were found the other day. The one kitten had his mouth completely sealed with super glue to be left to die. The other kitten was found but he was not hurt just hungry. Luckily the girl who found them works in a vet's office. They took the kittens in and are taking care of them for free. Afterwards they are going to be put into foster care until they can be in a good home.They called the local newspaper, the animal control and one of the local TV stations and they all said "oh well" and did nothing! I think this is wrong! I dont care what kind of animal it was! This is animal cruelty and I feel that the individuals responsible should be in trouble with the law! What do you think?
