This is a problem that occurs often in multi cat households. Your cats are probably feeling very insecure at the moment and to ease the stress you can purchase a feliway plug in from your vet. This releases pheromones into the air, much like those cats produce themselves on the side of their cheeks, which they rub against you. This scent makes them feel happy and secure and reduces stress. It is often used for this exact problem, soiling in the home.
Another tip is when you clean up the urine, wash the area well with a non biological soap powder, rinse with clean cold water, dry the area as much as you can. Then get a small plastic plant sprayer and put a small amount of 1/2 surgical spirit and 1/2 water in it, shake it up and spray the washed area with the solution. This will break down the fatty deposits in the urine, which cant be washed away and get rid of the odour.
This will stop the cats from re-spraying that area. Do not use anything else, except vinegar, as that will just change the scent and invite them to spray over it again with their own.
Never smack an animal or rub its nose in the urine and do not use pepper. This is cruel and will only frighten and stress the animal so much so that it has forgotten what its just done or why its been punished. In fact if you make an animal fearful it is likely to do the exact thing you don’t want it to out of insecurity.
A good idea for introducing adult cats in have a piece of cooked chicken to hand ( no bones of course) and throw pieces to each of them. They are more likely to accept another cat when they think he's brought a kill to share into the home.
Good Luck to you and your cats

The cat feels threatened so it marks territory. Try spraying citrus in the spots that it pees. First try putting anything citrus, try and orange, infront of your cat. If it backs off, it doesn't like the smell. This method is also used when trying to stop your cat from clawing your furnature.

she feels threatened, you probably didn't introduce the stray properly to your cat. cats are very territorial and will spray to keep other cats away, try getting feliway, its like those plug in air fresheners only you can't smell it, it releases fermions that calms your cat, also try keeping your cat in 1 room for a few weeks to try to calm her down, if the smell of the stray cat is still in your house, that could be bothering the at also.

Get the stray neutrered and it should stop the problem, as he is probably marking his terittory and upseting the balance of your home.
Hope this helps.

Yep she is doing this just to show who is boss!!!
Go to local pet shops and ask if they have anything to help you.
This happened to me and we found a spray that has a very strong citrus smell which cats hate!!
Good luck...x

That's very strange - females don't "mark territory."

Mark your cat, with a spray bottle. (or, mark the territory, yourself).
