Origionally we found this cat with other babies and their mommy around. Then we found this cat alone and we left her there overnight. This morning i walked out and it looks like she is dying. I have no clue what to do. My parents arent home and i cant drive. Its breaking my heart to watch this cat dying or what looks like. It goes into a long cycle of not breathing then wakes up and starts crying then it starts all over again. I put this cat in a box w. the top open and some blankets. What else can i do?! PLEASE HELP

I would also put some fresh cold water in the box along with several baby blankets and maybe a stuffed animal. This should bring up the kittens, body heat. The water will cool her off. She is tiny...so be extra careful.
Call your mom or dad and let them know what you are doing.
Maybe they can come home & show you how to bottle feed the little one with an eye dropper, or with a little kitten baby bottle. Your vet will have them. Also petco or any gorcery store.
If you have any sort of cat food, chop it up real fine. if not and you have a can of tuna....again open the can carefully (with your parents permission of course) and cut the tuna up with a small regular kitchen knive or the back side of a fork.

Then place it in the cats little bed you have made...and she will try and eat on her own. Just let her get some strenght with the food and water. You can also offer her some milk.

Good luck...and I hope and pray the kitten will be just fine.
Blessings, patti

The cat is probably not going to make it & that's why the mother has abandoned it. I wouldn't handle it with bare hands. Call your local vet & ask for their advice. Maybe your parents can take you & the cat to the vet when they get home or maybe you could ask a neighbor or someone close to you to take the two of you to the vet. It is indeed sad to see animals sick and/or dying but that's life. You made the cat comfy & there's not much else you can do. If you have a clean eye dropper or a straw, you could fill it/them with a little bit od warm milk & see if the cat will drink it. You may have to pry its mouth open until it gets used to the milk. Wear gloves when touching the cat & wash your hands thoroughly after handling the cat.

If you have any evaporated milk, warm it up and put it in an eye dropper. Force her to eat it;; she's probobly starving, they need to eat every two hours. It was a bad idea to leave her out overnight, because if the mom left her with no other siblings, she didn't want her, or some kid took her and threw her into your yard. If you don't have evaporated milk, take some regular milk and distill it, three parts milk, one part water. Warm it up for about ten seconds. If it's too hot to put on your wrist, it's too hot for the kitten. It needs to be lukewarm. Put a heating pad wrapped in a blanket under the kitten, and turn it on to low. If you don't have one of those, take two large bags;; fill one with hot water, and put the other one over it so it doesn't leak, wrap it in a towel, and put it under the kitten. She could also have hypothermia. Good luck, I'll keep her in my prayers.

DO NOT CALL THE VET/ASPCA FIRST. This kitten needs you to help her, and calling may help;; but only if all else fails.

First of all feed it some milk. Goat milk or something. Cow milk isnt really good for them, but if thats what you have you should use that. Make sure after you warm it up its not to hot. Then put it on the ground and see if it will drink. If it wont then dont try to feed it, becouse putting it down its throwt might drown it. And 2 of all keep it warm! and 3 rd of all call the ASAP!

Feed it with warm (not hot) milk from an eyedropper. After feeding eub his behind with a wet cloth to help it pee and poo. There is nothing else you can do, it will die of dehydration if you don't feed it.

Call a neighbor who can drive. Ask them to call the vet, or call the vet yourself and tell them your predicament. They should be able to help you. If you can't keep it, then give it to a humane society, or an animal shelter.

Good Luck :)

Find the number for your local SPCA or animal rescue group and CALL them. They might be able to help the kitten.

Make sure to feed it somehow with milk. Get creative to make a bottle if you don't have one. Make sure it is small... good luck
