I like this horse's looks, and I'm wondering if he's worth the asking price? What are your opinions (knowledgeable horse people) and would you pay this much for this horse? I'm looking for a gentle horse my daughter can learn to ride on. My horses are all too green for a youngster. What would be a good offer, if you think this horse is overpriced? Thanks for your help!

idk why but my dog hates me! i don't know what to do. For some reason it likes my sister (who hates it) and it likes my brother (who prefers the cat over the dog), and then it likes my mom who wants to take it back to the humane society for crapping in the house! It also likes my neighbor who hates my dog and my sister's friend who will hit my dog (when i'm not around) for teathing on her stuff and her jeans.
last night when i was walking to the bathroom my dog started barking at me for no apparent reason. and whenever someone will pet her, she will roll on her back, but whenever i pet her, she'll run away! also whenever my brother, sister or mom leave the house she starts squeling and going crazy, and i'm the one who cleans up after her and feeds her! is there a reason why she hates me?

I broke down when we were poor last week and got Seargent's flea and tick stuff for cats under 5 pounds; its the combo kind that was also supposed to kill ticks etc. I've never bought the cheap crap before, and had bought the stuff that worked. Of course, Seargent's did not work; They are still infested. Needless to say, I wish I hadn't done it and just waited to get the good stuff.
Is it safe to buy some Advantage / frontline (any one of the good ones) and apply some or should I wait?
The cats had no adverse reaction to the Seargents.

I got my new bunny yesterday and this morning she was acting very lethergic. I thought it was because of her big day yesterday but now she is having diarrhea! Is it because she is stressed? or is it from switching foods and cages and such... I'm really stuck. Should I take her to a vet? Or let her rest....

Our 6 month old kitten apparently found a rat last night. He's been in pain all morning, walking funny and meowing whenever we pick him up. No blood visible, but his rear leg or hindquarters seems tender. He really doesn't want us inspecting it. Will be be okay?

I am trying to understand why people would go to the trouble of rescuing a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal, then refuse to take it to a trained rehabilitator. Rehabilitators know how to care for the animal without making it a pet, know how to provide the proper nutrition, know how to properly prepare it for release, and know how to teach it to recognize and find its natural food. They also know how to condition a bird for flight. So, why do so many people claim they care so much for the animal they rescued, but refuse to get it the trained, professional help it needs?

Recently my dog has developed a half dollar sized lump on her shoulder blade area. For a couple of weeks I didn't know what was bothering her. She would avoid being picked up and when I did pick her up she'd yelp in pain. The only way I can describe what the lump feels like is that it feels as if it were an air bubble under the skin, it doesn't feel solid or hard. Yet it moves like a cist would. I just noticed it's been getting a bit larger and it's noticeable. I was hoping it would possibly just rub out but not I'm thinking it might be serious. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do or any idea of what it would be?

She's about 2 year old, 7 lbs, chihuahua.
Thanks for your time... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First, he has no fins. They are starting to grow back now, just a little. I doubt they will ever look like they must have at some point. But, they are on the mend. My biggest problem right now seems to be swim bladder disease. I think. He has a little bit of a pot belly. When he tries to go to the bottom of the bowl, he immediately floats right back up to the top. While floating at the top, he can't keep himself upright. He goes over on his side and he curves his back end so that he almost looks like he's making a "C" shape. It could be from constipation, but it could also be from the trauma of the Oscar tank. I have withheld his food for the last day. But, he still doesn't seem better. I don't know if I can get him to eat a pea. I didn't see him eat anything when I tried to feed him on the first day. I've had him for three days now. Should I try an antibiotic? If so, what should I get? His fins are clear on the edges. Will the color come back eventually?

I have a three toed box turtle that we just got, and I am trying to find plants to put in the habitat, and I know some plants they cannot eat. I was wondering if clovers are one they can't eat, I know its unlikely, but I don't want to take any chances.

I got two turtles just a few days ago and their living in the same tank. They're those kind that you get in Chinatown. I'm wondering what type they are (Right now, they're 3/4 inches;green for the most part;shell points upward in the middle; and they have a brown oval like thing around the backs of their head or on the sides).

I am also wondering how big they will grow up to and how big the tank I should buy for them and other needs.

Well, we had 7 dogs (most from finding them and raising them) Then out of 4 of the not nuterd and spayed ones the girl had 4 puppys and we live way out in the booines (in the middle of no where) and its hard to get them adopted and because of those puppys now i cant get one of my own puppys from a animal shelter!!! How can i convince my mom to let me get a new puppy?

P.S The reason that i couldent get my 4 dogs nuterd and spayed was because were i live its very expencive(123 dollors for spay and 100 for nudur)

P.S.S The reason i dont want to just keep 1 of our puppys is because theres a puppy in our towns animal shelter that may have to be put down soon and i fell in love with that puppy!!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

We have 2 male rats, about 2.5 years old, that we need to rehome. They are very sweet and don't bite. We don't have time to give them the life they deserve anymore because of our work schedules and curious new kitten We rarely ever play with them and they spend most of the time in their cage locked up now (we used to be able to let them run around). But they are geriatric rats, so I don't know if rehoming them this late in the game would scare them during their leg of life. We want what is best for them! Any advice???

Ok I have a 3 year old son and he is good around animals. We also have a house full of people living here right now. Including his 1 1/2 year old cousin. Well I had a small dog chihuahua and my son was good with him. On the other hand his cousin liked to carry him and if we told her put him down she would throw him. She threw him down the stairs one day and well anytime she would go around him he would get like sad and hide in the corners. Sad to say but he got real sick and died this morning. I love dogs and I want another but should I wait? Is my sons cousin too young to be around a puppy? If I get one should I keep him in my room where she cant play with him? Or teach her how to treat a puppy?

I have a pond in my backyard, it isn't one of those small ones for turtles...its very big and very deep. It has frogs in it and some bass---the forgs came on their own and the bass we put in. Anyway, I would really like some turtles in it. I live in upstate NY. I don't want to put up a fence, I just want some native turtles to be in it. But I want to purchase or adopt the turtles (not catch them from the wild). How would I go about doing this?
