If she smells that bad and I'm thinking you already tried giving her a bath that's why your asking this question, I suggest that it being a pug that it has a skin condition and The best thing is to see a vet and change her diet. The vet will help you with the smell if she has bad skin. To remove the smell already there in your house a carpet cleaner, the cleaner, and bleach. Use the correct amount suggested but add an 8th of a cup of bleach to the mixture. It will get rid of the smell in the carpet. for the furniture febreze. For your bedding by new after she has seen the vet .

What I did in my house is started cleaning more often, that's all I needed to do to get the dog smell out of the house, it will keep coming back but not for too long or too strong. There's this dog powder that smells really good. You're supposed to use it on the carpet before you vacuum. I also use candles and air fresheners. I keep my windows open for a couple of hours every weekend...but yeah, the best thing to do is to clean every couple of days the areas where your dog is mostly at. Also give the dog a bath every week for the first month and see if the smell goes away, if it doesn't go to the vet and ask them what to do.

There are these candles that you can buy at my vets office that dogs the dog odor away. They really do work to, the vets offices smells good. haha and the smell is very light, not overpowering at all. I am sure you wash her or she would not be in the bed with you. If her smell does not go away you may need to take her to the vet, my grandmas dog stinks because of some horomone imbalance and has to take medicine everyday. Check to see if she has any scaly bald spots on her that she keeps licking ( like the genital area) Good Luck!

pugs are nasty smelly dogs. you can wash this beast every other day and clean your house every day and febrezze the hell out of the entire house and it will still stink. some dogs smell worse than others. some dogs have more oil and will stain light colored carpet and furniture than others (labs!), some dogs have double coats and shed horrifically (shepherds).
And then there is the most perfect dog in the world.... THE BEAGLE! they dont shed much, no oily coat and not only dont they smell bad... but they actually have a very pleasantly warm and comforting aroma! They dont even smell like a wet dog when they are wet or in the mud! my little girl can be completely covered in mud... let her chase the ball in the lake for a little while and shake the mud off with your hands and she looks like she is ready for Westminster!

a great variety of the Toy breeds make extreme high quality abode canines, offered you put in the time to love and practice and groom and socialize them (as you're able to any dogs). via all ability get a "teacup variety dogs", in case you prefer to assist irresponsible breeding, and in case you have countless thousand money stored (previous well-known predicted dogs fees) for veterinary expenses linked with the themes of breeding a domesticated wolf all the way down to the scale of a extensive guinea pig. A generally sized Chihuahua or Yorkshire Terrier or Pomeranian is already very small, i do no longer comprehend why everyone could desire a great smaller version of those breeds.

I use febereze and it gets rid of just about any scent. However, my dog also doesn't smell that bad. Maybe try bathing the dog with a nice smelling shampoo.

Buy it- its called "Nature's Miracle". It comes in a bottle, a spray and a laundry detergent. Also, you should vaccum your dogs bedding and the house regularly, as well as brush your dog. The dog shouldn't need a bath more than once a month. You may want to also consider switching your dog's diet to all natural and holistic food.

I prefer lysol to febreze as a temporary relief. Enzyme odours are even better (and dog effective) and of course training and hygiene of the dog. BTW, sometimes dog odour is related to genital, anal glands or mouth infections, so check her.

Give the dog a bath, have her checked over for medical issues and make sure she is on a high quality diet.
