You may have to have a professional come spray if the bombs don't kill the current ones. Make sure everything cloth that can be washed get washed. Putting plastic covers on beds and pillows help too (if you put a mattress pad over it you can't even feel it). Don't forget to treat the yard too. Bombs will kill them but they will just come right back in. There is a fertilizer like treatment we covered our grass with this spring and lasts a whole season. Seems to be working pretty well so far. Good luck.

Get a product from a vet. Anything you get from a shop is going to be about as useful as a fart. You can get a spray like Indorex, Acclaim or Staykil - all these work well.

You will need to treat your dog regularly when you get him back in the house - preferably BEFORE you get him back to the house. If he was present when you noticed fleas in the house, they will be on him now and er - in your friend's house now as well! Again, get a treatment at the vets for your dog - treatment every two months with a spot-on like Frontline will keep him and your house flea-free.

EDIT: An exterminator should not be necessary, they don't have any chemicals you can't get from a vets.

contact a pro. they have stonger chemicals.
also if you have a yard you need to treat that too. Fleas come onto the house on people too.

try to put a flea collar in your vaccum cleaner and make sure that you treat your yard and animals that are around your yard (tell owners) that should do
