i picked up a baby cockatiel and it has lice or ticks i dont know what it is what do you guys use to get them off

I just noticed my kitten floating around the bottom of the pool. When I got it out it was barely hanging on to life...it's so small. It is meowing and moving around now but it's in shock and it's full of water. What do I do? How do I get the water out of it's stomach?? Please help I'm so scared for it :(

what should i do i have an oscar and a pacu they've been in a ten gallon tank for a year now and they wont stop fighting and my oscars lip is almost gone and have no money to buy a bigger tank what should i do i feed them live fish twice a week and pellets regularly and they have never fought until now what should i do

I have a 29 gal tank with 3 serpae tetra, 6 lemon tetra, 2 ram cichlids and 2 puntius denisoni.

Would it be ok to add 1 red tail shark?

Im also thinking of adding an angel. Shark be ok with angel?

My brother bought me a little green turtle. I bought one of those little plastic things (with the palm tree) and it's too small for the turtle, and he wants to swim lol. I am going to by a 10 gallon tank. Heres what I plan to put in it:

A Placasumus (SP)
A Lilypad or two
Gravel at the bottom
Plants to put at the bottom
maybe some driftwood

is there anything else I should put in there or take out to make him happy?

i have to wash my dog tonight beacuse she jumped in the pool and i found out that we ran out of dog shampoo. is it ok if i use human shampoo? can i use pantene or triple moisture neutrogena? she is a sheltie and i only need to do this once. thanks!

My rat Pinkie is making a weird sound; it is coming from her nose. It sounds kind of like she has a stuffy nose. Can this lead to anything bad??? Or does she just have a cold. She started to make the sound this morning. :( :)

she just came to my house with a cage and what not and she have a box like thing of 3 sugar gliders and said "well here are your new babies!!rn't they so cute!!!".they are cute but i dont no anything and i mean anything about them!!1i didnt even no what they really r but cute lol. so can someone please help me because i am scared i wont ever to able to taim them because i dont really no what the r and i dont want to give them away cause they look so cute.but do they bite or get really big???please help me i dont no what i am doing and my cuz and like that just bring stuff and drop it off and she is crazy any way and no i am not liying and to prove it i swear on my dead sisters grave.i mean i think my cousin got them from a breeder who is her friend but my cuz is still here but she has to go and she said she just thought that i would like them because i love lil animals that look as cute as these guys do!!!!

I went out to feed our german shepard and out of his house came this baby kitten, it is really dirty and covered in ants with green stuff coming out of his eyes, I don't know what to do. I picked it up with a towel and got it out of the fence away from the dog.

In about a year, im looking to buy a yorkie. A small one, like the most 5 pounds. I heard they get liver shunts sometimes. I was wondering if they are born with them, or if they just get them. Would you ask the breeder if they do, or do all breeders get them tested, and i know not to get that one obviously, if they do. I was also wondering if a yorkie would be unhealthy if it was like 3 or 4 pounds, would it be more expensive in vet bills? Please help me!! Thanks!

I'm about to make some sushi!!!
Ok, so I have a psycho fish! it's an albino something .. and it's taken out 5 puffers, 1 shark, and 1 angel fish ..
he's got anger issues and he's nipping at our other fish's fins!
I'm either going to figure out how to chop up some anti dipressants into his fish food .. or I'm putting him in a sushi roll!
any suggestions?

my bio wheel filter stopped woking, it doesnt suck the water up anymore. i need to replace it but the pet store is closed.

I know that you are never suppost to replace the bio wheel part, but the petstore is closed and i need to let is sit about 24 hours until i get a new one.

should i leave it soaking in water ? should i not leave it in water ? should i just use the new wheel that is going to come with the new filter ?

help!
