Can a dog get worms from holding them too much?

No. Dogs can only get worms from other dogs, people, or something on the ground containing worms.

If the dog likes to cuddle, there is nothing wrong with holding a dog. However, if the dog struggles, or grunts while you are holding, you probably want to let him down.

NO, Why on earth would make you think that something like that would happen from holding a dog to much. Dog's don't get worms from being held to much. The only thing might happen is they might scratch or bite if they don't want to be held no more but get worms most certainly not. Don't know who told u this info but they are dead wrong.

What exactly are they teaching in schools today. What a scary future we're in for.

Dogs do NOT get worms from being help. They get worms from bugs that bite them, or contract it from other dogs.

No ! Dogs can get worms from the ground(round worms), fleas (tape worms), or from dogs that have worms.

I have no idea where you got that information, but dogs get worms from eating dirty things, chewing on dirty things etc.
I am sure that a dog can't get worms by holding them.

well to some point yes let me explain a dog carries a parasite in the system called coccidia which can be bought on by stress and if a dog is help to much and gets stressed by not being allowed to get down can cause it to get the coccidia started and then it needs to be treated.
