I'm sorry, did I read that right? You have a fish that gets 18 inches and a fish that gets 30+ inches all in a 10 gallon tank. Pacus grow about an inch per month, so that means you have already killed it by stunting it so much in such a tiny space. Find somebody with a tank that is about 120 gallons, and you might be off to a good start. Your only option is to give them away. What the hell made you think you could keep those fish in that tank? Try researching before you get anyhting you could potentially kill (anything that is alive). Maybe you should try a different hobby, like botany...

Hard to believe given the extremely rapid growth rates of these particular fish (for example, a pacu, which requires at least a 300gal tank, will typically outgrow a 55gal tank in less than a year if not much sooner). Realistically (and assuming they were extremely tiny when you got them) the pacu and oscar would have outgrown the 10gal after several weeks(max).

Assuming they're severely stunted (which they would have to be after a year in a 10gal), trade them in at the local fish store and get fish suited for a 10gal (like small tropicals). Not sure if the fish shop will accept deformed fish though. How big are these fish now?

Pacu is a freshwater variety of parana. The Oscar is a South American Cichlid. They are amongst the most aggressive aquarium fish out there. I would seriously consider getting either a larger tank or at least getting another tank and separating them as soon as possible. Aggressive fish are kind of like Pit Bull dogs, very territorial. I have raised Oscars for over 25 years. Feeding them live food can also make them more aggressive. I actually feed mine a variety of live, pellets and green beans. Cut back on the live food, it can give them parasites and hole in the head disease. Also Temperature can play a part in their aggressive behavior. Try lowering the temperature to 72-76f.

Give them to a fish store, they are probably severely stunted by now. the pacu should be 12 inches about now.

You are a very bad fish keeper do research first.
