My fish floats, is that normal?

My other fish swim normaly,it never goes down help!!!

sorry your fish might die or it has that fish blatter problem. that happened to my fish before :( it mighthave gas thats what happens to me when I get in water and have gas! lol :p

Your fish has either a swim bladder infection or is constipated. You can try feeding it the softened inside of a pea and see if that helps within 24 hours or so. If it doesn't help, you will need to treat the fish with antibiotics to help it. My first choice would be Furanace. If you can't get that you can use Maracyn TC or any other tetracycline. Just treat as directed on the package.

it probably has something wrong with its swim bladder, where it cant swim correctly and just floats at the top, i had a goldfish like that, it would float upside down at the top of the tank, it would still swim around, but upside down, he eventually died, theres nothing you can really do about this problem

A floating fish is VERY BAD! If they are floating upside down, they are dead. Try a half a water change.

try giving him i think frozen or cooked peas to cure the swim or air bladder problem and when it works instead of letting the food float use like a fork and let it sink.
