Hey there, My snails recently laid eggs and i was wondering how long it takes for them to hatch. Im not sure what breed they are but there very small, black/greyesh and they might be apple snails but the not yellow, there black and they live in water. So if you could plz tell me how long it takes for the eggs to hatch that would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't know if you can help i have just started keeping budgies and i have got three pairs that have all laid eggs but one of the males has just died and as far as i can see it is not ill what shall i do with the eggs leave the female with them or put them with the others pairs please can you try to give a little advise.

I am 14 and i am attached to a long-haired dachshund. I have a dog that is going to get knee surgery in a month. My mom says yes but my dad says no. He just says why do we need another dog. I told him we didn't need my sister but we kept her. Then he said it would be bad for my dog getting surgery. She is a part of every sport dog imagineable so i am sure she will bounce right back up after her surgery. It is a minutare so it'll only get around 11 lbs. My mom is attached to him to but is afraid to make my dad mad.

Please don't say show him i am responseible because i don't have time the dog might be gone.

i bought a betta and the only time ive seen him flare is at my gourami. i ve read that you should exercise your betta a couple of times a week for 20 to 30 minutes by placing a mirror or another betta by your tank. so far my betta shows little intrest in the mirror. could he be a chicken or something? he at least follows the reflection but thats about it.

My guinea pig Mocha died unexpectedly today. He had started coughing and I didn't think much of it around 3pm when I got home at 6pm I found him in his hut with blood on the floor. My other guinea pig Cinnamon was making an awful shrieking sound--like he was crying.

What could have caused this death? He had all good food, water non-wood bedding fresh veggies every day. What happened.

And should I replace Mocha, and if so how soon?
I feel empty without my Mocha and I need sound advice.

I stupidly put some minnows from the pet store in my fishtank for my little catfish knowing that I've got ick from that before. within 24 hours I noticed my 5 clown loaches are infested, I have had ick 3 times before and I have always used this stuff called clout it is little blue pills you dissolve in a cup of water then put in tank, 24 hours later it's gone. Yesterday I put one pill per 10 gallons as it calls for. which is only 2 pills, today they have not gotten any better or worse, the directions say to do a second dose as needed, so today I put 3 pills in, and so far nothing. It looks as if everything in the tank has ick, rocks, piece of wood, ornaments, everything has white spots. Anyone got some advice

Before anybody starts to tell me about homeless dogs-I would just like to say that i am 100% keeping the puppies (if there are 5+ then i have asked members of my family and they said that they would happily take some of them)
Anyway, My ***** has been vet checked and heart condition is 0 (best) She has excellent hips and kidneys etc. and has 'passed' everything above fair in the vets.
She has not been shown and I was wondering if she needs to be before I can breed her...(i have heard that most stud owners won't take non 'champion' bitches) If this is true I won't have the time too but my daughter has read up on it and has been 'practising' ( LOL!) And I was wondering (obliviously not crufts) if there are any shows even small ones that a 12 year old girl can show the dog??? I would be on the side lines...but just don't want to show a dog ( I know i probably sound lazy, but it is just not on my 'to-do list')!!!
If there is anything else a ***** needs to have pups please tell me

My dogs play at home one way, but at the dog park they play completely different. Actually, only one of them goes to the dog park, the other is too young. I don't think it's because she's a puppy, because I've had other dogs that have done the same thing.

Hi! I have a 7 month old Labrador Retriever puppy and right now I am feeding her Purina One Large Breed Puppy Food. I don't really like it but she does eat it. I would like to change to a good quality food but I am not able to buy anything online so I cannot have any extremely good food shipped to my house or anything. I do have the resources to get to:
Authority, BLUE, Science Diet, Nature's Recipe, Nutro Natural Choice, Pro Plan, Royal Canin, Purina, Pedigree, AvoDerm, Iams, and Eukanuba. Will someone please tell me which out of these foods is the best for my puppy? Thanks!

I started a cultivation of mosquito larvae in a bucket, but I don't know how much to feed them. They are full grown so i was thinking maybe 5 or 6 every other day, but I'm not sure. I don't want to accidentally over feed them and kill them. Does anybody feed mosquito larvae to their fish?

also can u get them to change their sleeping habits by staying awake during the day and sleeping at nite?
