My budgie parakeets demand i scatter bits of Zupreem fruit blend and Kaytee Exact along the cage floor. How do you get your picky parrot to eat them

Just keep at it! Put some in a treat cup by their favorite perch. They'll begin to nibble on the pellets eventually. Put a little hand mirror on the floor of the cage and sprinkle some pellets on it--the budgies can't resist pecking at them and looking at themselves. This is a little tip I picked up from a well known avian vet from California. Budgies are basically seed eaters, but adding pellets to the diet is very important to help them get a balance of vitamins and minerals not found in our limited seed mixes.
