she is starting to dig and shiver

Now any minute. My Cavalier King Charles was bred on that exact same day. April 30th. She delivered 2 days ago. :) If she's digging and making a nest she is getting ready to deliver very soon maybe within minutes. The shivering means she is having contractions. Just to give you a heads up on what to expect. First her water will break and the fluid will be a green color and yellow. The color of sage or of grass stains. This is normal. Then about 2 hours she will deliver her first puppy. If it goes longer than a couple hours then call your vet. when she goes to deliver her first puppy she may act like she needs to go out side to relieve herself. My dog did this and got into the pooping position and i made her go back in the house to her whelping box. then the puppy came out.

The gestation period for a dog lasts between 60-65 days.
Congrats, your dog is very close to having her puppies if she has started to dig a hole.
Good Luck with the new puppies.

In two days. Why are you not prepared for this?

Gestation is 63 days.

Do you know how many homeless Cockers are awaiting an early death just because there are far too many of them being bred?
Are you a responsible breeder?
NO!
Responsible breeders know what they are doing in ALL aspects of breeding and they health check their dogs for genetic disorders!!

Good Lord...will the BYBing and PMing NEVER end?!!!!!!???

Why on earth did you breed your dog without first researching such a basic piece of information? There are enough homeless dogs put down every day due to irresponsible breeding and overpopulation, you're only adding to the problem.

Tomorrow should be the day.. good luck and get prepared for new puppies. I have to say this.. you should have known this and you should be already prepared for puppies. I hate to see her have puppies knowing you wouldn't know what to do if something should go wrong. Lets hope the mommy dog knows better than you do at this point. This really worries me.

Any time now!!!!
You'll know for sure that the birthing process has begun when you'll see a nasty, thick, greenish/black discharge coming out of her, that's dog's "waters". Puppies will follow it.
