I dont want them to breed though, so should they be 2 of the same sex? If yes, should they be 2 girls or 2 boys?

I'm planning on moving up to a 20 gallon tank, and I want to make sure it is waterscaped real nice. I am going for a natural, tropical freshwater look, and I was curious if anyone knew any good websites with nice pictures, or if they had any pictures of their own! I have two java ferns, but I want to stay away from live plants if possible. Smaller tanks (10, 20, 30 gal.) would be preferrable! :-)

My dog has been walking a little weird lately, i'm not sur eif its exactly a rolling gait, i don't know. But on our walk he kept sitting/lying down, and i don't know if he was in pain, or what. Also, he wouldn' climb the stairs halfway, even when i held out a milk-bone for him. I've looked online for symptoms of hip dysplasia, and it said some of his symptoms, but i'm still not sure. If anyone has any kind of insight or anything to help me, that would be great.

In the picture the puppy looks beautiful, black eyes, perfectly white coat...the only point that makes me doubt is that the hair is not perfectly straight but kind of curly. I wonder if the curly hair is only because he's a puppy and will become straight and silky when he matures. Please any recomendation will be welcome.

She has gotten somewhat wider but not enough to make me think she was pregnant...but today I noticed her nipples were reddish and swollen. I know this sounds kinda gross but I wanted to see if milk would come out if I pinched them and a whitish sticky substance came out of all of them...?!? Seriously she isnt real wide and her nipples/boobs are HUGE like I have seen other doggy moms. Any thoughts?!?

shes colored and looks just like a full blooded german shepred but her coat since we have been feeeding her is really soft and longer than a normal shepards and we used to have and raise shepards but she was a stray and asked and asked everone if they knew her owners i mean dont get me wrong i love her and my other dogs have takin her in to we all love her but we already have a big and we will keep her if we can't find her a home but i need maybe an idea of how big she'll get she has no chow in her and she is already nearally as big as my lab which is full grown and i am afraid she'll get bigger and will end up being like huuuggggeeeeeeee so does any one have any ideas

She has a lot of hoarded food. Should I put her hoarded food back in the cage (in her favorite hoarding spot) or should I let her start from scratch with a new stash of food??

I just got home from shopping for a couple hours. I let my dogs out, turned around, and there's my cat with a swollen face! I had seen him a few hours ago and he was fine. It's so weird. It's like his cheeks are swollen. Cheekbones, do cats have those? Dunno. It just makes him look funny. I tried touching his face, it doesn't bother him in the slightest. And it doesn't feel weird, either. He acts perfectly normal. He's got a very unique personality and that hasn't changed. No other symptoms to account for! It bothers me, but I'm not too upset because he seems fine, except he looks like that.

I am thinking an allergic reaction? I don't know. has this happened to anyone before because I'm at a loss at what is the deal. I'd take him to the vet, but I live in a smaller area and nothing is open for miles. not to mention, it's friday.

My backyard is entirely fenced in, so when my dog has to go outside, I just let him run. The yard also has lots of trees with lots of squirrels. Today, when I went in search of my pooch, I found him gnawing on the body of a dead squirrel. I don't know if he caught it and killed it or if it was already dead when he began gnawing on it. My dog is a male miniature doberman pinscher. He weighs between 12 and 14 pounds. He had his last rabies shot in December of 2006. Do you think there is a chance he could have possibly contracted rabies from this squirrel? Should I take him to get another rabies shot just to be safe? I didn't see any open wounds on the dead squirrel, but that doesn't mean that if my dog had killed it that the squirrel didn't bite him to try and protect itself. What do you think?

I bought a Red Glass Barb today. Unfortunately, I didn't get him any playmates and he seems distressed. How soon could I buy hime some friends? I'm thinking one or two more might make him happier, but I've read that you should wait over a week to add in more fish after adding some in.

the mother of the kitten was a house cat..and she is vaccinated..but the kittens are not...the mother has been living outdoors for about 8 months!
i cleaned the wound several times..with saop..dettol..iodine and perfume coz it contains alcohol..the wound isnt large..its the size of a l letter and i went 2 a pharmacist and he said that i shouldnt go 2 the hospital ! i dont know what should i do!! should i go 2 the hospital?? what might happen 2 me?
