I noticed that only one of my cat's eyes is dilated while the other seems to be normal. She seems to be acting normal. Any ideas?

I rescued a purebred Alaskan Malamute from a Rescue in another state. He is a wonderful example of the breed. He is absolutely breathtaking. I want to get my dog CKC registered so I can enter him in small competitions and stuff. I know i cannot get him AKC registered cuz i don't have proof of the bloodline. Does anyone know how i can do this.

I rescued a 3 pound chih. Well it was luck how i came acrossed her. Anyways she just has major surgery as she was bred to a to big of a male and her uterous ruptured inside of her. The pups didnt make it and the vet repaired the uterous but almost lost this chihuahua. they said she was useless now they cant breed her. Anyways they told me she couldnt be spayed. The vets wont spay her cause there was to much damage. Can this happen or can she be spayed at a later date anyways.

I've had him for about 3 weeks and I've changed his water... kept his tank clean and everything recommended. But now he is acting wierd. He "sleeps" under some gravel at the bottom of his tank, a lot. And he doesnt move around like normal. He bolts wherever he goes. He'll go really fast for a real short period for about 15 seconds then he'll just continue to "sleep". I had a ghost shrimp in there with him and it died. As soon as i noticed the dead shrimp I removed it as soon as possible. Anybody know why he would act like so?

My fiance and I were walking our 6yr. old basset when this lady stopped us and was like is that a basset there so cute and was asking a lot of questions then said "He looks so unloved". He has very droopy eyes and we hear he looks sad or like Eeyore all the time but not unloved we were so offended.

I have a beta in a five gallon filtered tank. I have noticed some really tiny, thin strands floating about in the water, not a lot, just three to five that I have seen at a given time. They are really thin and translucent, but they don't seem to move on their own, yet I'm not really sure. They are swept away by the current of the filtered water dropping from above. My beta seems fine: he eats; he flares up all the time; his gills seem fine; I don't see any of the little strands on his body. I just want to make sure it's not some sort of parasite. I have bought the fizzling tablets for the parasites (Parasite Clear) but haven't used them; I just bought in case they were parasites. If they are, and I need to use them, do you know if I drop the dosage right in the thank with the fish?

P.S. I had three balloon mollies previously in that tank, but they passed. I did change the water, but didn't vacuum the gravel. Could the strands be left over mollies poop?

I have had her since she was 5 weeks old and now she is six months old. She has just been on a two week holiday to my parents while I was away and I'm anxious she won't recognise me when she gets back. Do cats have a memory of the people who look after them? ie. me her mum!

Its called "pretentious" but it should be called ridiculous! WHY do "upscale" restaurants charge their customers SO much when all they serve are little itty bitty portions of food that are hardly even visible on your plate?!

My cat has been having fleas since she came and nothing seems to work-hopefully I'm just not doing it right. I have tried Advantage and it did not work(I have a feeling that I did not put it on right) may people have told me that it works great - not for me. Any suggestions + my cat is long-haired.
