I just got two 10 week old kittens and they have a lot of gray/silver on them.. one has stripes (the one with the most silver) and the other one is black with silver rings... and I have no clue what to name them.. any ideas? (I kinda want the names to go good together) Thanks..

My guppies are about two weeks old now they are all still clear. The mom was black and orange so i figure they will forsure have some color. How old will they be when they actually get their color? Also if they were males would they already have color to them?

My cat gets so mad sometimes when we don't let him outside. I walk in from outside, and he attacks at my leg after shutting the door - I assume it's because he's mad that we don't let him outside every single time he wants. Sometimes when I'm just petting him, after a while he gets frustrated randomly and starts biting my arm. After I say NO in a firm voice, he meows really loud and starts attacking me at any place he can get.

What do I do? He bites me and my mom all the time and it really concerns me that he is so angry. What's going onn???

My cat, Elwood has a chewing problem. He will chew on just about anything he can find, cords, bags, strings, etc. I want to know if there is anything I can do to stop him from chewing on my stuff. It is costing me a fortune to replace.. Help somebody!!!

who is the youngest and has been neutered. The female has been spayed, but sometiems she refues to let the old cat or the male on the front porch (their sleeping area). She picks fights and is very bratty. She kinda looks Siamese which is why I thought may be why she is so mishevious. She has a lot of energy.
How can I get this cat to stop being a brat?

I just recently bought a teddy bear hamster from petco and the tag on the cage she was in sadi that it was a MALE teddy bear hamster, and it also said it was a long haired hamster.BUT...It's a girl, and a short haired teddy bear hamster.Should I call petco and complain or would they make me take Elmo back and get a new one??I need HELP!

I have a 15 year old Beagle who has been losing weight lately. She eats, but has gotten pretty picky about what she will eat. She is acting fine, the same as always, but I worry about the wieght loss. She turns her nose up at her dog food but she will eat people foods, so I give her eggs and rice or chicken and rice, or I mix the chicken and egs in with her dog food (I soften it with water because she is missing some teeth). What else can I feed her that would be good for her system? (and, yes, I know - go to the vet. Since she is fine otherwise, I have hesitated to do this because she hates going to the vet. It really stresses her out. If it keeps up, though, I will.)

My brother has recently won a fish at a town party type thing. We have no clue what it is, or what it eats. For the most part, it is gold, with blackish fins. It's alittle white at the bottom, and about as big as a thumb. We have a food that says it is for goldfish and other types, but it doens't seem to be eating it. It also swims to the top of the tank and puts it's head near the top and open and closes it's mouth, probably to breath better. We have had it for three days now.

Really! I've had this fair-prize goldfish for 3 years (a record!) and she's stayed in the same tank she came with for all those years! Does she get bored? She get's to eat, and then just kinda' swim a little and then blow some bubbles! Wouldn't you be bored?

Our 10 months outdoor cat is missing... we had an emergency and had to leave to another city. Cat noticed that, she knew we were leaving and she followed us up to the end of our driveway. I left her plenty of food and water for her and I noticed that she was eating (hopefully some other cat did not come inside through cat doors). We returned the following day later in the night and she was not there. I called her but nothing. We are so sad... what may have happened? Do cats follow people? Did she tried to find us? Please help!!!

My cat is being neutered and declawed next week and I'm really worried about it...I'm constantly thinking that he's not going to come out okay, or that if he comes out fine then he'll hate me and will be scared to let me hold him or play with him...Should I be worried?

I have a pit bull who is 6 years old and decently trained. He has hip dysplasia, so he is unable to jump higher then 1 foot. The conjoining fence between our house and our neighbors is 5 feet high. The neighbors have small children, as does my sister who lives with us (a 2.5 year old and 7mo old twins). My dog loves them and they love him back. he has never done anything to hurt anyone in his life. he does bark when someone knocks at our door when he is inside, or when someone approaches the house when he is outside. The neighbors don't speak english very well and my mother has tried to talk to them, but she doesn't speak spanish. She gave them kibble to toss at the dog when he barks too much, and has asked them to knock on the door when they run out. we don't know if they gave him kibble, but two days ago they threw a rock that cut his face badly. what can we do to protect him?

My brother got a parakeet from petSmart about a year ago. He is VERY timid, and doesn't like people AT ALL. If you stick your hand in his cage he'll freak out, and we just don't know what to do with him!

We think it was because the person at petsmart used a NET to catch him with, and he just can't forget that. Are there any ways we can "bond" to help him get over his fear?
