No. Don't use flee powder or collars. Call your vet and get products that are safe for kittens and cats.
Frontline, Advantage, and Revolution are good non toxic products that will kill flees and not harm your kittens.

Never use flea powder on a cat of any age. Don't use any flea powder, dip, collar or any other flea remedy that you can buy at a grocery, pet or feed store on a cat. Some don't work and others are highly toxic.
Advantage and Frontline are the best flea products for cats. You can get them at vet clinics. Usually cats under two pounds are too small for those flea products, but if younger kittens have fleas it is essential to get rid of the fleas. Fleas can make kittens so anemic that they die. A vet can dilute an adult cat-strength dose of Frontline or Advantage so it will be safe for tiny kittens.

Use flea combs for now until they are eight weeks of age. However, don't use Hartz products on the kittens. Some kittens/cats drool or have skin problems. Flea collars really do not work, so you're better off getting Frontline or Advantage.

provide them a heat tub and wrap them up in a towel and blanket in a while. provide them a bottle to lead them to experience greater useful after their tub. I did that with my little woman while she grow to be that little. I even have had my toddler for 9 years now on July 4. Get some kitten flee spray and sparkling your carpets. Your carpets is additionally the subject. I did that as quickly as I have been given my toddler. The carpets consistently carry flees. you could save you and your kittens on the neighbor's abode on an analogous time as your carpets are being wiped sparkling. Kittens are like new born little ones, so be greater comfortable and greater careful. think of like a mom. I take it that the mum must be ineffective or that they have got been deserted, so now you would be the mum.

Flea collars and powders really don't work. The fleas jump off onto your floor and jump right back on the cat and you. Call your vet who will advise the safest products for the age of your kittens He/she will have the safest products available. Over the counter products have proven to sometimes be deadly to cats.

No flea collars. It is safer to just flea comb the kittens. Read the labels. Most products can't be applied until 7 weeks old. Advantage is the safest to use.

In my country there is a product called Frontline that you put a few drops on the back of the cat's neck and works for 1 month. I think there is one especially for kittens.

I wouldn't bother. There are so many superior products on the market that are easier to use. For example advocate made by bayer (gave both cause I'm in Australia), revolution orany of these products that are much more effective at killing fleas, larvae etc, while providing additional protection against some worms, ear mites and heartworm. They still will need to be wormed once to twice a year. They are spot treatments you dab behind their necks once a months...less if indoors. That's it!

I know there is flea treatment for younger cats and it will tell you on the package what age is safe for them, I think it might be eight weeks but I am not 100% sure. Take a trip to the pet store.

Most flea prevention products say on the label how old they should be before use. Some brands say it is ok to use as long as they are not nursing.
