We're getting a Min Pin soon. We just wanted to know a few more things. How do they act around children and strangers? Do they really need to be walked every day? Also how do they act around other dogs? If anyone has a Min Pin can you please tell me about them.

Bear likes to sniff alot and sometimes after sniffing he will freeze up and make a weird face and wrinkle up his nose. It's kinda like when you get water up your nose? He breathes funny too. What is it?

I am planning on getting a 40-75 gallon tank for my Cichlids. I am just going to throw this out there, please tell me if this would work... and please don't give me any "one inch of fish per gallon" crap! The tank is going to be the longest tank I can find within the 40-75 gallon range.

15 miscellaneous Tanganyikan Shell Dwellers (Cichlid (under 2 inches))
3 Electric Yellow Cichlids (4 inches)
3 Yo-yo Loaches (4 inches)
2 Black Khuli Loaches (4 inches)
2 Dwarf Gouramis (2 inches)(male and female, maybe 2 females)
7 Schooling Barbs (2 inches or less... Ideas please?)
2 inches of sand and coral gravel combo
Live plants (Taiwan Moss, Riccia, Maybe 3 Swords)
20 shells for hiding
Maybe driftwood

I need help deciding what schooling fish to use if not Barbs, what rooted plants wouldn't get torn out, how many cichlids are reccomended without having them get torn up by each other.

I have a cat that sneezes a lot and her "boogers" stick to the floor and dry rock hard! I would clean it up ASAP, but I'm at work most of the day. How do I clean it up? Any suggestions?

my little JRT besides Princess(who is fixed) will 1 year old this August.
My dad says I should wait until she is 18 months old before I breed her with another JRT(with papers of course).
Why do people wait until the female is 18 months before breeding the dog? I only want to breed every other year anyway. I'm not gonna "puppy mill" Precious because it would too much strain, stress etc on her. Besides I think she would like a year or two off between breeding.

Does anyone know anything about I'm talking about here? Would breeding her every time she's in heat wreck her health or wear her out faster? What do Vets says about breeding this way?

I read that you can check for babies at 2 weeks. I felt her abdomen but didn't feel anything then. Sunday will be day 31, and she's not doing anything with her nest box except jumping in and out of it. We checked her again, but still don't feel anything. I want wait a few more days just to make sure she's not pregant before rebreeding her, is this a good idea? She's a maiden and this is my first litter. I've been reading books about breeding rabbits, but just want to double check with a person about our results before putting her to the buck again.

my rabbit takes 3 hours just to eat a single stalk. i've had her for only a week now and only been feeding her pellets because i haven't gotten hay yet. i'm worried she's not getting enough to reduce blockage or obesity from feeding her pelletes this whole time. what should i do?

My sibling leaves her dog outside in hot weather (85+) and she has only two trees in her backyard. The dog has a black coat like my border collie. Ive told her more than once black coat-dogs need special attention during the summer. She thinks I am over-reacting and as long as the dog has plenty of water he is fine. Who is right?

I have a panda bear hamster (black and white syrian) and I got him around Christmas time, so he's about 6 months old now...he used to be very active starting at around 10pm and would run in his wheel all night but lately he just sleeps all day and all through the night (I know because he is loud and usually wakes me up). He looks different, too, because his eyes look crusty and he is sleeping in the open part of his cage now and not his favorite hiding spot. Is he okay?

I have a 4 year old English Bulldog and for some reason she has always had a really strong unpleasant odor. It seems to have gotten worse as she's gotten older. I bath her regularly with an oatmeal and a flea fighting shampoo, but that never helps. And for some reason, the smell gets even worse when she comes in from being outdoors or when she has sat in the sun for a while. I heard that diet might cause this odor problem but she eats a proper diet. Any tips would be very helpful. Thanks

This summer I am going to Shenyang, China and am planning to get a tortoise. I had turtles before, but never tortoises so I am asking if someone could give me the name of a breed of tortoise that is good for begginers, not huge, and does not hibernate. I was thinking about a Herman's tortoise.

I have a friend that had a maltese/bichon mix that was chained outside and bit a small girl when she ran through their yard. It wasn't because he was mean, it was because he was excited. The girl's family made them put the dog down. I just lost my dog and I know it's impossible. Do you think that's unfair?
