I am thinking I am going to buy a 20 gallon tank with some nice dcorations and a good filter. What do I need to know and please don't ramble on about test kits. I just need to know about some nice tropical fish, a bottom feeder, and an angel fish

This trend seems to have gotten very popular since celebs like Paris Hilton started dressing her dogs.
I have dogs but I don't dress them but I dont have a problem with anyone who does...

My cat is skinny and won't gain weight so I changed his food 4 weeks ago from "no name" to "Whiskas" and he still hasn't gained weight. I fill his bowl all the way to the top and it takes him a few days to eat it. Its about 5 or 6 cups of food.

I don't give him canned or wet food...could this be the problem? I can feel his leg bones alot and his spine...what should I do, I don't have money for the vet it is crazy!?

I have three min. schnauzers (mom,dad, and baby) I love them but I'm really getting frusterated with them ..They are destroying my yard and they bark alot (to the point my neigbors are complaining) now they started biting on the house.They have been around for about two and a half years.. I've been putting off getting rid of them..But now I'm tired..Should I keep them ? If I do get rid of them .How???

I have a 10 gallon tank with 1 kissing gourami (who is very very very big) lol, a little yellow Danio, and an albino cory.. I have 5 bettas, (all male), and want to put just 1 with no others in there but him no females, would that be alright? Or no?

He somehow inseted himself into a small section and got stuck. I got him out, but now he has scrapes on his sides and top, and while he can swim fine, he just keeps laying on his side. He will swim away from the net, but then just go right back onto his side. I'm hoping this is just shock, but any ideas?

I am new to the dog show business.
I have a 7 month akita puppy, shet is a shelter rescue.
We are planning to get a second puppy from a breeder at the end of the year.
I am planning to go to the dog show to meet the breeder and see her dogs in the show ring.
I want to take my puppy with me, she travels a lot with us and I want her to get used to the busy noisy environment. She is very well socialized.
I am not planning to show her, since she is a rescue and not registered.

Can I still take her to the dog show?
How much does it cost? What do I need to bring with me?

My Betta lives in a fish bowl, and I will soon be getting him a tank. After I cleaned out the bowl about a week ago, I started seeing bubbles in the bowl. I was wondering if these were soap bubbles, or bubbles when the fish sleeps. The bubbles are small, and are at the surface of the water. I was afraid to clean it out again, in case they were really soap bubbles, and not air bubbles.

I hate my neighbors because they don't take good care of their cat. I give it food when they let it out of the house but when it goes back sometimes they keep it locked up in there for a week! I want to cat nap it but I can't do it when they are there. Any suggestions?

My husband and I are about to put our home on the market. However, we have a very big problem. OUR DOGS!

We are at a loss as to how to get rid of the "dog" smell in our home. We clean and Fabreeze like crazy, but that doesn't always work.

We buy all kinds, mostly from the vet or petco-Nutro, pro-plan,Eukanoba,Iams, Beneful,Science Diet, some all natural holistic crap.
We get him the good expensive stuff, but we gradually mix it in. We offer it as treats to encourage him, we mix in cottage cheese, sometimes rice or scrambled eggs or wet dog food. He wont touch it!!! We literally have like 6 bags sitting at home
This is ridiculous. I feel like opening his little mouth and shoving it in there!! He will eat anything we give him- even bland stuff like potatoes. But not his tasty Lamb and Vegetable gourmet dog food!

He is about 1 year old now.

I'm not sure whether he has a cold or not. I've taken him to the vet but she wasn't very good, the first time she gave Wilber an antibiotic which was like a paste and that didn't work, then she gave him another antibiotic which was a clear gooey liquid, that didn't work either, he still sneezes and snots everywhere.

My poor babies appetite is better but that's about the only improvment.

I'm keeping him warm by leaving a blanket over his cage and leaving a heater in his room turned on for a few hours a day, i'm also trying to keep the cage dry by cleaning it out about once a week. Are there any other suggestions?

Also is it ok to use a disinfectant on Wilber's cage whe I clean it? Could it potentially make his sicker?

Please help me out, I am very worried about him.
