We buy all kinds, mostly from the vet or petco-Nutro, pro-plan,Eukanoba,Iams, Beneful,Science Diet, some all natural holistic crap.
We get him the good expensive stuff, but we gradually mix it in. We offer it as treats to encourage him, we mix in cottage cheese, sometimes rice or scrambled eggs or wet dog food. He wont touch it!!! We literally have like 6 bags sitting at home
This is ridiculous. I feel like opening his little mouth and shoving it in there!! He will eat anything we give him- even bland stuff like potatoes. But not his tasty Lamb and Vegetable gourmet dog food!

If he gets hungry enough he will eat it.
Only thing: about a month ago my 2 dogs didn't want to eat their food, and we can't afford the really good expensive stuff. About 2 weeks later there was a big to-do on the news about dogs dying from contaminated food. We waited a while and now they're eating fine again, as the foods are getting checked better by the companies - they had a lot of claims because of the dead pets.

First of all you should NEVER feed a dog dairy foods such as cheese. Second of all Stay away from Iams and Eukanoba-they posion their food. I think you should bring him to the vet right away! Plus dry food is not good for cats or dogs overall. It is proven that they live longer on wet food.

No dog will starve itself if it's healthy. Sounds like you have a very picky eater in the making. Stick with one food and stop trying to find one that he will like.
The most natural and the one with the least junk in it will do.
Take all the other food and donate to your local animal shelter.

its probably coz he's got worms in his tummy. i dont kno wat that disease is called. but ur dog gets worms in his tummy. not the big worms we see but small things. not a huge prob just let the vet take a look at him. the vet usually give pills. the dog tries to eat grass or earth when he gets worms.
