My dad put my rabbits outside and they didn't have water. Around 1 hour later, my mom brought them in, but one of the rabbits was missing! (We found it under our barbeque by the way...) my other rabbit is 3 months old and was dehydrated and was shaking like crazy! My mo checked up on him not too long ago and he was sleeping. She wanted to wake him up cause he seriously needed to drink/eat. When she tried to wake him, he screamed so loud that i could hear it from upstairs! It didn't wanted to be touched and it dosen't want to eat/drink. WHAT DO I DO?!?!?

So I was wondering, I have chlor-out conditioner I can put in the water, or I bought repti-safe conditioner to put in the water, but I was wondering if once the repti-safe ran out if I could use to chlor-out instead. Would that work just as well?

The bottle of food is for baby turtles and is pellets, the directions say a whole teaspoon per turtle every day, but I can't imagine feeding them so much! Will that be too much food or am I starving them if I don't give them this much?

Lastly, living in Arizona, I can sunbathe my turtles outside in the natural sunlight to get all of their uva and uvb rays, right? I read natural light was the best way for them to bask, but then in other questions I have read that being out in the heat is not good for them...

Help?

Yesterday a bird perched in our tree for a long time. We live in southwestern Ohio but I have never seen this species before. It appeared to me a passerine. Slightly larger than a mockingbird. Light grey head, wings and tail. Faint roufous patch on wings (?secondaries) and darker grey, almost black at the tips of the primaries. The bill was about three-fourths of an inch perhaps longer, yellow underneath with a black stripe on top. It was slightly downward curved. The breast, belly and sides were snow white. The tail was similar to that of a mocking bird, also grey, but with white patches along the distal outer tail feathers. The legs were pale grey.
Any ideas?

Well it's near fathers day, and my dad always said he wanted a mini schnauzer before he retires.

Right now I don't have much allowance money, but my siblings and I want to put our money together and buy a mini schnauzer. Any inexpensive places to get them? Together our allowances are about 200 dollars. Please help!

Remember we can spend from 0-200 dollars on it! Websites are good too.

I have a two year old guinea pig and she is very shy and quiet. Its soo sad because she is soo adorable and has so much love but she literally dosent do a thing. When I take her out and put her on the ground for her to get exersise she does nothing. She wont even walk around. Shes expensive says my mom and i have to clean her cage every 3 days because i feed her alot of lettuce to eat because its her favorite thing to do in her boring life. Im also alergic to her but it seems that whenever im around shes just so happy to see me and that she would never be happy with anyone else. What should I do to make my life easier and hers happier. I cant go on cleaning all that poop and sneezing alot but i still do love her and would never be able to bring myself to give her away when I made the commitment to own her.

I have a young betta male I got him when he was about 6 weeks old and he has grown perfectly. My question is He will get all defensive and flair his tail ( over his own reflection) and his fins will tear, I will put him in a hospitail tank and he will heal. thenit happens a few months later again. is this a medical problem or a mental issue?

I had two. One was an extremely smart Chihuahua named Pepe who was very sweet. That dog helped me survive some very bad times. I’m so very grateful for his loving companionship! Don't know how I would have survived without him!

When he was killed, it hurt too much to own another right away. I ended up with an incredibly sweet, very intelligent Siamese rat Mom named Mini. She was the most loving animal I have ever seen! EVER! She played with Mom’s dog and groomed my daughter’s dog. She even groomed the cat!

She would lay on my lap, stretch out and sleep. Mini sat on my shoulder a lot and laid against my neck. She even fell asleep there once… and rolled right off! It was hilarious. She wasn't hurt, of course, or it wouldn't have been so funny. I never knew anyone could love something so small so very much!

Pepe and Mini, I still love you both and miss you, my sweet angels on earth.

Do you have your own story about a wonderful pet who stole your heart?

"I have an older cat, she's about 14, and she has never displayed any signs of sickness until about a week ago. I noticed that she seemed really thin. She was too weak to stand up and had mucus running from her eyes. I rushed her to the vet who pumped her with fluids and put her on an antibiotic. He said she would get her appetite back in no time, but she hasn't! I have been giving her her medicine every day, and I even bought this special high in calorie can food to give to her. She licks at it for a minute or two and then just walks away and lays down for hours at a time. I don't know what to do? I did however notice that she makes a weird grinding sound when she eats, I am wondering if there is something wrong with her mouth making it too painful to eat?" This is just about exact to my situation. The vet focused on kidneys due to prior situation, but all tests are normal. When she does eat, we have a house full of kitty vomit. I have her on an I.V. every 2 days, but no good.

I found these worms while I was siffening out the gravel of my aquarium. I don't see them on any other occasion other than this. What are they? And are they harmful to the fish? I've noticed these things for two weeks now, and nothing seems to be wrong with my fish.

I just got him today, i didn't notice it at the pet store but when i got him home i saw that his nail was broken and had some dry blood on it. I left him in his cage and came back about 20 minutes later and saw the the entire nail just came off and some blood on the cage. Will his nail grow back to normal? Also, my other birds don't like him the first ten minutes were filled with rejection. None of my other keets want him anywhere near. Should I seperate them or is just normal?

I live in a dorm and I have a small, one gallon tank. I would like two fish that can coexist. I was advised against Mollies because they like to be in large groups, and Bettas are aggressive. What's the ideal pair?

I have two cats. Both female. I noticed about six months ago the older one, whos two was liking off her fur. Brought her to the vet and she was given a cortisone shot. (She's been back for two more since the firt shot). Well, she hasn't stopped and it's ony gotten worse. I bombed our house, and applised frontline. She still does it. Now, noticed the other cat has bald patches. She jusy turned one. My cats get along with each other. They are from seperate litters, but the older one has always treted the other one as her "baby." What can be the cause of the problem. They are going back to the vet, yet again this week, but it seems like everything that I do does not work. Please help!

Hi...I just recently came across a 2 year old shih tzu in a shelter that is absolutely adorable! I researched so many dogs (b/c I am an allergy sufferer) but I don't know too much about the shih tzu. My husband and I are planning to start a family within the next year and I read that they are not good with kids??? Any info you may have (esp shih tzu owners) would be greatly appreciated. I would really love to save this dog but I want to make sure it is the right dog for us! Thanks so much!
